Super cute spot! Modern look I believe they just remodeled some! Love that window areas are seating spots! They didn’t have a display case with the donuts etc but the staff were so helpful in what was offered for the day! Tired an iced crème brûlée latte and it is smooth and not too sweet, just the way I like my coffee! The strawberry Bear claw had a little too much filling for my liking but was still great!

I stopped in to try one of their donuts. Fresh homemade donuts. I asked the person and she said their chocolate and maple long John were the favorite. They had Persian donuts that I have not tried and ordered. It was light and very delicious. It must have been fresh made as she asked if I wanted nuts on it and they put them on.

Cool place and great donuts, located in an awesome, old downtown area in Chisholm, MN. If you are in the area, make this a destination for coffee, donuts, breakfast or a sandwich. Easy stop just off the main highway, so there is no excuse to miss this hidden gem in the north.

I have been to BlackBear Coffee a few times now. Carmel Macchiato is my go to, I recently tried a couple of their wraps, turkey with a spinach tortilla and Italian dressing. It was supposed to come with tomatoes, I really wish I took a photo of the first one I had because it was so beautiful. Wrapped tightly and tasted soooo good. Second one I had didn’t have tomato but was still yummy. Definitely recommend giving it a try!

The entire store has been remodeled and looks clean and modern. The friendly staff is doing a great job keeping up with the rush of new patrons. The coffee is tasty and the donuts melt in your mouth. Congratulations on a great reopening!

Breakfast burrito was very good and the coffee (flat white) was the first good coffee I’ve had in the USA. With proximity to redhead MTB trails, this bakery is definitely worth the visit.

Food was very well done and neatly plated but the building is a little small for dining in. However, it can be done and we did. All 5 of us. The price was slightly high but I would pay it again. The service is very lacked and I’m personally ok with that to an extent. It could have been a little more professional. They had workers going in and out of the kitchen, talking and people coming in from outside into the back then leaving. Now remember how small this building is so it was somewhat more noticable than other places. I would have preferred to see all that out the back door if possible. I do understand that life is still happening while at work so that’s why I only dropped the star rating by one. Definitely worth a stop either way.
