I had a hair cooked into the meat of the alpastor taco. Chicken tacos had no flavor. Asada tacos had a weird flavor, left a weird after taste.

Excellent food. Best Mexican food we’ve had in Bend so far. I got the birria tacos and my wife got the carne asada with rice and beans. All of it was simply delicious and fresh. It’s a very small taco truck in the Colima Market parking lot. Wish we would have found this place sooner as we’re moving out of town at the end of the week.

Tacos de Asada were delicious! Homemade tortillas and meat was well cooked and seasoned. Salsas were just right, not super spicy with a great flavor. Good size tacos. Highly recommend!

For some context my Grandma is Mexican and cooked food for me growing up. She was also a chef. That being said, this place is delicious. Best Ive found in Bend

I had the birria vampiros and pastor mulitas. Very good
Editing this review: I had them cater an event for my wedding. Everyone commented on how good the food was. I can’t speak higher about the flavor. Don’t sleep on their chicken. All so tasty!

Stopped in here on a random visit to Bend. I had an amazing Al Pastor burrito. One of the best I’ve had. The salsa (both red and green) were great without being overly spicy. If you’re in the area this food truck is worth a stop

Winter 2024: we skied, we went to a dispensary (which was 20% cheaper than California), we went to the El Taquero’s website and ordered food. We picked it up in 25 min. It was yummy. 3 quesotacos were enough for me ( a pretty large man). She gave me her food after 2.3. tacos). We paid $25.30 with tips for 6 things including tips. Our food was absolutely great. It is my 10th time in Bend, OR. It was my first time at this place. Hopefully not the last one. ♥️

El Taquero is a hidden gem in Central Oregon, and I can’t get enough of their quesobirria tacos as they’re hands down the best in town! The combination of juicy meat and melted cheese, dipped in steaming consume, makes every bite is simply irresistible. Beyond the quesotacos, they offer a variety of other delicious dishes that are equally fantastic.
Their agua frescas are a must-try too, freshly made daily and the perfect complement to any meal.
Hansel and Hannah, the owners, are amazing as well as their lovely staff members. They’re not only friendly and hospitable but also incredibly efficient—having your order ready in no time.
If you’re passing through Bend, do yourself a favor and be sure to stop by El Taquero. You won’t regret it!

AMAZING tacos, friendly service and reasonable prices, what more can you ask for? They had a steady line of customers coming and going but they got the food out quickly and piping hot. We’ll definitely return!
