Fantastic little cafe with charm. Staff is very attentive and willing to offer recommendations. Prices are reasonable, and food is consistently delicious. Large selection of homemade desserts, which change every couple weeks. Outdoor seating available (pets welcome).
Would highly recommend the banana pancakes and the Vessel sandwich (with candied bacon added!). Vessel has quickly become our favorite weekend breakfast spot!

My 3 kids (ages 3 and under) and I have been visiting the last couple of weekend mornings. Vessel sandwich and pancakes are delicious. The staff is patient and accommodating (extra plates, water with lids, allowing my kids to stack creamers, and quick to get me to-go boxes when we needed to flee).

Visited for breakfast on a Saturday around 9AM. The restaurant was about 3/4 which includes an assortment of booths and tables as well as outdoor dining.
You order from the posted menu at the counter and have your food delivered to your table.
I had the egg, protein, and toast along with a coffee. The food was delivered expediently (under 10 minutes) to our table.
Everything was as expected and delicious. The scrambled eggs were fluffy, and the sausage patty had the perfect spice/seasoning mix. Even the coffee was excellent and had a mild bright flavor.
I will definitely be back again!

Great location, prices and staff! Had the breakfast special of hazelnut pancakes with fried eggs and 2 strips of bacon as well as chocolate chip pancakes cooked to perfection! The pancakes are the best I’ve ever had- super fluffy and BIG! Grabbed some cinnamon rolls, a scotcharoo and a s’mores cookie for later. The cinnamon rolls are out of this world good! Great job guys. Any time I’m thinking n town I’ll be sure to stop by. Thank you!

9/23 update: went here with my family this morning for breakfast. Food was delicious, coffee was good and we all had a wonderful experience. They updated some of the seating options and we really liked it. My sister said a few times that she enjoyed every bite. Mothers only complaint was the burrito she ordered was just an egg in a tortilla.. thankfully my sister and I had plenty of extra food to share. Cute place in cross plains.
Not a bad place. I came here for the special I saw on a FB community group. It was a waffle BLT with hashbrowns. The BLT was really good. The hashbrowns looked really delicious but tasted like the oil hadn’t been changed in a while. They were not edible for me or my friend.
The owner comes out and says hello to people which I do enjoy. Lots of baked goods. Service is kind of slow as kids were working and they didn’t seem to know how everything works.. but that’s okay. You gotta start somewhere
My other complaint is the establishment has a no dogs sign on the window. But a couple who is clearly friendly with the owner came in with their dog. The dog was held by the woman and allowed to put it’s paws on the table while they ate their breakfast. Dog is shown in one of my photos.
They need to make themselves more apparent as you’d never know they existed if you drove by. At least a classic a-frame sign outside. Came

Stopped in randomly while on a trip for breakfast and fell in love with the place. Delicious food (highly recommend the cinnamon roll), great service . The atmosphere was very welcoming and open. We will definitely be stopping in the next time though.

Very impressed with our stop here! The value for the food is amazing, the breakfast sandwiches were really yummy and cheaper than a frozen Starbucks one! Service was friendly and very thorough. Can’t wait to come back!
