I started getting Gioninos last year after Mama’s pizza wanted $100 for a small pizza (joke) and I haven’t regretted it! I think they have the best pizza in town. Prices are affordable, wings are big, also they serve FRIED CHICKEN. Not many pizza places offer both wings & fried chicken. That alone makes this place stand out. It’s delicious too! Only reason they get a 4, is they recently upped their prices ..it’s still within my budget, but I’m still not a fan of any price increase. Still, I recommend them.

Overall not worth the higher prices. The cheesy bread was good, definitely could’ve used more cheese but still good. We paid for extra cheese on our pizza, if this is what they consider extra cheese, then I’d hate to see a regular…. It was the thinnest layer of cheese! And their cheese is rubbery. We also aren’t a fan of the sauce they use, I don’t know how to describe what was wrong, we just simply didn’t like it

Me and my daughter had a hair in our cheese bread, when i called the manager was rude and said she dont know how that could happen, offered a credit i denied i wont return a place that is a manager and doesnt know how to be a decent human with out being rude to a custome!

Loved it all. Ate everything right away so I didn’t get any pictures. Sub was delicious! Pizza was great, even my son wanted pizza after I gave him a happy meal that he wanted before seeing the pizza. They did forget my garlic butter, but I should have checked it before I walked out. They were busy (phone ringing and other consumers coming in) but still maintained a friendly environment. Will be ordering from them again.

Really good pizza. Tried it for the first time today (Jan. 2017). Got a large pepperoni pizza. It was very hot and tasty. Price was very reasonable. The counter staff was very friendly.

Ordered $34 worth of food 6/1 @5pm…75 mins later my food showed up… The delivery driver was complete rude person….looking to see if and how much of a tip he got then looked right at us and rudeness came out of his mouth ..I called the Shelby store and I told them all my food was cold and I was treated with rudeness… I stated I wanted my money back I got laughed at …And I got the same rudeness taking to the guy that answered the phone…..cheese on pizza was like chewing rubber… 2 orders of boneless wings ice cold…order of jo jos was a joke … I suggest the owners have a nice long talk with there employees cause if you keep letting this happen you won’t have a pizza shop in Shelby… Very bad experience I want my money back…

We love Gionino’s in Shelby! Worth the extra money compared to competitors. The ingredients they use are way better than pizza chains. The Meat lovers pizza is so good! Been wanting to try their chicken and jojo’s, but hard to not order what we know. My kids loved the pineapple pizza! Don’t forget about the cheesy bread too! Last order we had a deluxe sub and it was very good as well. Keep doing what your doing and thank you for making great comfort food!
