There was virtually no wait and it was perfect for a cold night! Got the #5 and a potato croquette. Everything was fresh, hot and the croquette was crispy. The garnish needed a refill but I asked and they quickly took care of that with fresh ingredients. Tables were clean in all locations. Utensils area was well kept as well as the free water dispenser. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Great spot to eat if you enjoy Udon noodles. All the ingredients are fresh. Fresh tempura was very tasty and the service is on point.

We took the family out for dinner and got lucky with a big table. This location is smaller than the one in Torrance.
Food was tasty and service was friendly. But the pickup process needs improvement. One bowl was meant for someone who ordered earlier, and another was for someone behind us. Staff gave us the wrong items while we were still in line.
Overall, it’s a good spot for a quick family meal.

Clean, clear, quick and yummy
Got the customer loved nikutama and it was very quickly assembled. You can add on any tempura on the little tray sliding thing and checkout at the end. Complimentary sliced green onions and minced ginger and tempura flakes, also the Japanese 7 spice and tempura dipping sauce is self serve.
I like the very easy and well explained ordering process (they have little signs saying what goes with what too). If I lived in the area I’d easily add this to places I’ll go to throughout the week.
For my food, I liked how it wasn’t too heavy in flavor like just a subtle sweet aftertaste. Beef was great too, and adding ginger definitely boosted the flavor. I also loved the chewiness of the udon noodles, and the fact that it’s handmade in the restaurant is even more cool.
If I were to gripe about this place, it’s really nit picky but my egg yolk was already broken when I got my bowl 🙁 but that’s not really a big deal. Also tempura is kind of expensive..but it was still pretty good! Tried a tempura sweet potato and it’s definitely starchy-you gotta dip into the sauce for it to absorb all the flavor
Otherwise, solid place and I would come again, if not to just try the other stuff here. Not too busy either and we came at about 1:30

Great spot with truly customer-focused service. We chose a soup ourselves, but it turned out to be too sweet for our taste. Lance went out of his way to help and replaced it with a different soup at no extra charge. That level of care is rare these days. Big thanks to Lance for being attentive and solution-oriented, and to the restaurant for treating guests so well. We’ll definitely be back.

Sellers began to treat customers much worse, do not answer the question and ignore, I eat here once every 2 days, asked to put more broth. But I was ignored. I said the same thing to the round seller. He said that this portion is normal in his opinion. Because of one spoon of broth that they didn’t add, they ruined the whole good impression of the restaurant. This is the last time I come. They refused a glass of hot water at the cash register.

Veggies were black and didn’t seem fresh. The beef is too sweet and got very thirsty after eating the udon.

Marugame is always a classic. Food hits every time and the consistency is unmatched. They offer a cold option which I think is very unique and ends up being what I order every time. 10/10 recommend.

Two people came and ordered Creamy Broth Udon-Tonkotsu Style and Tan Tan noodles. The creamy udon was a bit salty for me, but it was tasty. On the other hand, the Tan Tan noodles was very different from the picture on the menu and the taste was so so. As a side note, the seat in front of the cashier was uncomfortable because water was dripping from the ceiling.
