ordered pick up hibachi expecting grilled, seared food prepared in traditional hibachi style, but what I received was extremely disappointing. The chicken looked boiled, completely white, with teriyaki sauce simply poured over it not grilled or seared at all. The filet mignon was grey and lacked any hibachi flavor or preparation.the rice was pot cooked
For a total of $110, this was highly overpriced and nowhere near the quality advertised. The food did not resemble hibachi in taste or appearance. I feel misled and would not recommend ordering unless major improvements are made in quality and preparation.”

First time trying them, very nice and the food was really good! The ‘rents go Every Week! That says a lot it’s a must come back for more for me come see for yourself, if you enjoy sushi or hibachi to order! The waitress was very helpful and lovely Definitely a good experience. Been meaning to try this place for a while and I’m glad we finally did. I got the hibachi dinner and my wife got the steak fried rice. I also got the eel nigiri sushi to try. Everything was delicious. I think this might be the highest quality steak I’ve ever had at an Asian restaurant.
The waitresses was extremely friendly and very helpful! I’m not sure what specials they have but I can’t wait to come back again to try more stuff!

The service is amazing, the selection is amazing, and the food is amazing. All three of my daughters (6,9,12) enjoyed it which as any parent will tell you is rare in a place that doesn’t start with MC. They’re already planning what they’re gonna get next time we come. Awesome place!

I’ve been in Mobile for work the last few months and I’m so glad I tried Little Tokyo! The rolls, nigiri and appetizers have all been great! Try the Sunkist roll or the Gulfport roll. Sooo good! Everything I’ve tried has been delicious.

This is the best sushi I’ve had in Mobile! The food here tastes fresh and healthier. The presentation of their food is beautiful! You can feel the heart they put into it. It feels closest to authentic Japanese cooking. The atmosphere is nice, clean, and friendly. I love their avocado smoothie. I highly recommend this place.

My husband and I have eaten here twice. Both times, the service and food was the best we’ve had as far as hibachi goes. We tried some sushi and the dumplings last night. Can’t wait to try more!

Definitely a new favorite! Service was awesome and each dish we had was delicious and plated to visual appeal. I hate how most restaurants nowadays don’t understand the concept that we eat with our eyes first. Little Tokyo has that part down though. Portion sizes were great for the price. I’m not a seaweed lover and was so thankful I could get my sushi in soy paper instead, with just a small upcharge. The hibachi dishes had tender meat, flavorful rice, and veggies cooked to perfection. I usually hate the dressing that comes on the ginger salad, but theirs was so so good! The only thing I didn’t like was the yum yum sauce, which was a bit too sweet for my taste, but it did taste fresh and wasn’t that awful glow-orange color that other places serve. I will definitely be recommending Little Tokyo to all of my family and friends, and will be back to try other dishes and adult drinks.

I’ll definitely have to come back but this might become my favorite sushi place in Mobile.
Prices are pretty standard and the sushi roll options are great. Several different combinations that you don’t usually see at a typical sushi joint.
Also like that you can get sashimi / nigiri. The yellowtail was fantastic. Additionally, just to top it off, the presentation was beautiful.
