Stopped for sandwiches and coffee. Food was quick and good. Onion Rings were the best part of the meal. Old Fire Station decor. Service was excellent! Food is about average for small town Iowa, good and hot but nothing to get excited about.

First time here and it WON’T be the last time. The philly sandwich was so freaking good talk about melt in your mouth. My husband’s breaded pork tenderloin sandwich was huge. My grandson was amused by the decor. It really was once a fire station. Very nice service. You have to go for lunch or check out the supper menu. Can’t wait to try their steak.

Was a pretty quiet place, they were probably having a slow spell. The food was actually really good, and the prices were pretty reasonable too. The lady at the counter was super nice and engaging.
Seemed like they home make some of their condiments. The desert was really great too. Definitely the kind of place I’d swing by again next time I’m in that neck of the woods.

This After this place received high praise from the woman at the reception counter of the hotel, my group was excited to make a visit. Unfortunately, if we were to describe our visit in one word, it would be disappointed.
To start off, while the seating area for the bar is spacious enough to host a group, the selection of beer is average at best. Given the late craze of craft brewing, this was disappointing.
The restaurant was, at best, a 3rd full. The speed of service would have lead us to believe the place was jam packed.
Lastly, but definitely not the least disappointing, is the fact that almost every meat item served was very overcooked.

Our waitress was awesome. She was very motivated kind and on point. The food was very blah, no flavor at all. This place is beautiful inside, it has a great potential to be an amazing steakhouse, but your gonna have to get some flavor in that food. AND A VENT!!! The whole place is smoky and stinking due to not having a vent in your kitchen!

These guys have been opened for about a month now and we remember the Firehouse for good sized portions amd quality food. That is not what we got. If you plan on coming here thinking it will be the same then do not go. It feels like the owner downgraded everything. Quality of food, condiments, portions and even the atmosphere was dreary. Felt like no one wanted to be there. The look of the food was not appealing. To be honest I would have rather gone to pizza hut and spent the same amount for more food even though they have bad service. Firehouse should go back to what they used to be, this was so disappointing. Our waitress was great just everything else was bad.

Everything was delicious. Authentic Cuban sandwich, best since I lived in Florida. Chicago dog was as also very authentic. Awesome fries, wings, and onion rings. Next time I’ll save room for dessert or two!
