The full parking lot and line of patient customers confirms the rumor…this is an above-average coffee shop. Michael and his wife transformed this bakery into a delightful little Cafe with an unique American-South African-Euro fusion vibe. The hot drinks are made with top of the line products while the pastry menu offers a mixture of “unusual”, familiar and creative options. The staff is very friendly. Outside seating is available. Dogs on leashes are allowed. You will not be disappointed, except if you’re a complainer.

So impressed with this place! One word for the service: EFFICIENT! We ordered our pastries, cold brew & chai latte and our order was ready in 30 seconds. Shorebreak Cafe was clean and welcoming. Pastries were on display and let me tell you, they were DELICIOUS! must try the poptart. 11/10. Stop here and try!

Everything is so good!! You need to get the banana pudding. I loved their iced chai and their egg and cheese on a croissant. Truly the perfect breakfast sandwich. Thank you!

ABSOLUTELY the BEST gluten free bagel I ever had. So often as a celiac I’m used to dry crumbles of an egg and cheese GF bagel. This bagel had BITE, CHEW, one of the best ever. I didn’t see it on the board as an option. We had to ask tho. Please advertise it because it was THAT GOOD! Celiac approved

Rave Review: Shore Break Cafe ☕️

Shore Break Cafe is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, we were met with the most welcoming, joyful energy from the staff — truly the heart and soul of this place. Everyone working there seemed genuinely happy to be there, and it showed in every interaction. Friendly, helpful, and attentive without being overbearing — they made us feel like instant regulars.

The food? Incredible. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The drinks were just as impressive — from perfectly brewed coffee to refreshing, creative beverages that hit the spot. And the atmosphere? Cozy, vibrant, and full of positive beach-town vibes.

But what really sets Shore Break Cafe apart is the people. Their warmth and enthusiasm made this more than just a meal — it was an experience. Can’t wait to come back!

Every weekend, my family and I meander through this delightful spot with our dogs, and it truly feels like paradise! The prices are surprisingly reasonable, making it easy to indulge without a second thought. Our kids and furry friends are always thrilled to be here, enjoying the wide-open spaces that invite exploration and play. We never find ourselves waiting long for our coffees, which is a blessing on busy days. I love treating myself to the honey lavender latte—it’s a heavenly blend of flavors that makes each sip feel like a special indulgence. Every visit is a little slice of joy!

I really enjoy Shorebreak Café! It’s such a breath of fresh air to have a local coffee shop that’s not a chain. I had the ham and cheese biscuit and a dark roast coffee—both were absolutely delicious. The pastry case was full of tempting options too, which made it hard to choose just one.

The atmosphere is charming, and I loved being able to sit outside and enjoy the morning. I actually drove an hour and a half to have a meeting here, and it was a great setting for that.

That said, I was really surprised to find out that there was no bathroom available. For a place serving food and drinks—and one that isn’t exactly “budget” priced—I expected a basic amenity like a restroom, especially for patrons who are dining in or staying for meetings. I understand that being near the beach may pose challenges with foot traffic, but asking guests to walk five minutes down the street to use a public restroom (that’s essentially a porta potty) isn’t ideal.

As a fellow business owner, I know every location has its challenges, but this was a big miss in an otherwise lovely experience. I hope it’s something that can be addressed in the future, because I’d love to keep coming back.

A great beachy cafe. Several bagel options (no lox, but they did have a schmear) croissants, pastry selection, the meat quiche was really good, as was the egg white and arugula. Outside patio seating, fun crowd, helpful (and plenty of staff, even midweek, so that was nice). Coffee options for those who want it. Not the cheapest spot (apparently it used to be a local cheap in and out doves place, it’s now more upscale for sure), but a good option for the area.

For a bakery, the bagel was just meh. They double stack meat and egg options which seems like a bit too much…however at $15.50 for the sandwhich (egg, bacon and sausage), it was pricey.

Smaller sandwhich, cheaper price, better bagel would go a long way.
