It’s a takeout only spot. The staff was friendly and attentive.
Chicken pad Thai: Good, a bit on the sweeter side
Duck fried rice: A little plain. The duck was dry and not crispy as advertised.
Papaya salad: Very disappointing. Very plain and had no juice. I do appreciate that they have papaya salad on their menu though as not many Thai restaurants in Charlotte do. I hope they’ll keep this item on their menu, but make improvements to it.
[Not pictured] Thai iced teas: Good- I feel like you can’t go wrong with it.

This is the go to Takeout spot in Charlotte. I have tried just about everything on the menu and it is all fantastic!!!! They have by far the best Thai Curry in the city and are super friendly and if you want something done a certain way they are more than willing to do it. They are always timely with the food. Cannot recommend this place enough!!!

Amazing taste on the spicy chicken fried rice. I really am like OMG this is so good! I had 4/5 spicy and it’s really spicy – I can tolerate and love spicy. It’s so so good. Great price and service too. I want to be back and try other things from their menu.

I’m really disappointed in the decline behind this restaurant. They just changed management and started gouging on their prices. Thai Thai was always my go to hole in the wall spot for cheap Thai food that wasn’t necessarily the best quality, but it was inexpensive and got the job done, so I loved it. They recently changed management and increased their prices while also making their portions smaller. Just another example of shrinkflation in 2025. I posted a picture of their menu from just a month ago vs. the menu today. Everything is more expensive. Also they used to pile up your food into a massive styrofoam box that was literally overflowing with food. Now, they have downsized to smaller Chinese takeout plastic containers. With these higher prices and small portions I might as well go to a nicer sit down Thai restaurant that’s basically the same price and double the portions. Really sad to see charlotte lose its last inexpensive Thai option.

Excellent food, great and friendly service. Will be back 🙂
Large portions. Ate mostly all the drunken noodles before the pic (couldn’t wait) lol

I’ve eaten at Thai Thai since it was the king and I on Central Avenue 20 years ago. They’ve recently changed over ownership and I have to say it’s still absolutely fantastic. Very small changes thoughtfully done still fresh authentic and absolutely wonderful!!!

I was so excited when I opened my tray and found wide noodles! Finally a thai restaurant using the right noodle. Plus the vegetables looked good too. I had ordered Drunken Noodle with Chicken with medium spice. Unfortunately the dish had no flavor and no heat, none at all. But maybe their other dishes are good. So if you are in the mood for thai give it a try for yourself and support a local small business, just maybe not order the drunken noodle

Started getting takeout here for lunch on Thursdays and I feel like they have the best Massaman Curry in the city. Plenty of great Thai options in Charlotte but Thai Thai is where I’m going to go every time I want Massaman. Also really can’t get over how good the spring rolls are. Just fantastic!

I would highly recommend. We got drunken noodles, green curry and fried rice. They were polite and the food was delicious!

The food was always good, but previously the restaurant was only open for dinner, did not deliver, and the food was never ready by the designated pickup time. With the change in management, all of those issues have gone away. The food remains good, they serve lunch, the food is ready on time, and they deliver. Hooray!
