Ordered a burrito supreme and bean and cheese burrito. The burrito supreme was incredibly lopsided. One half rice and lettuce, beans and everything else in the second half. It wasn’t the worst burrito, and the ingredients seemed okay, but half of my burrito was rice and tortilla and un-melted cheese so it was not very enjoyable. I did fill up on the burrito supreme so ended up not even eating the bean and cheese until the next day, so I will not review that burrito as it was not fresh.
The staff could not communicate what was in the burrito supreme. I understand language barriers, and generally speaking, not knowing English is a good sign in a Mexican restaurant, but if your job is to deal with customers, you should be able to communicate with them at some level. It was rough, but I got my order placed.
On atmosphere, I was approached by someone asking for money in the drive through. I only had plastic and no money, and when I told him this he made some comments and started screaming in the parking lot as he walked away. That was not great. I know the area, and I know these things are hard to control, but keep in mind where you are when you eat here, and you will notice that they lock the drive through window every time they close it.
Will I be back? Maybe? I mean, I love hole in the wall places, and do not mind rough areas. The caveat is that you have to have food good enough to justify the setting. This visit let me down.
