Shout out to Kelsey, the bartender. Kelseyville patiently explained the menu, had excellent recommendations, and made the Best cocktails! Give her a raise, Boss, she was fun and knowledgeable!!
We ordered wings, brisket, jalapeño cornbread, cowboy beans & Mac n cheese. We did not care for the cornbread because it was very dense. Flavor was okay. Beans also had good flavor but were still slightly hard. Brisket, wings and Mac n cheese were all very good
If you sit at the bar, it is full service. If you choose to sit at a table, you have to either order at the cash register where they have a menu that is adhered to the counter. So you would want to know exactly what you want ahead of time if they’re busy. They also have a menu on a huge chalkboard and they cross out what is no longer available. If you want to, you can also order by grabbing a number for your table and then you order from my QR code. I prefer to have a menu in my hand. Call me old school. The non-alcoholic drinks are self serve. There are no waiters. It was not a horrible experience nor was it an exceptional experience. I probably will not go again unless I was ordering for carry out
This is the best BBQ I think I’ve ever had outside of those hole-in-the-walls you find in the deep south. It was tender, delicious, and absolutely mouthwatering.
We will, without a doubt, be returning. I recommend the Pork Belly burnt ends! They were my favorite. The deep fried deviled eggs were also amazing
Stopped for dinner here on a Saturday evening, and they were already sold out of almost half the menu! We had to wait 20 minutes to be seated even though there were tables open, because you order via QR code when you sit and the kitchen was overwhelmed. Bummed we couldn’t get drinks while waiting (bar was also full and had a line). They have a nice variety of beers and also some fun cocktails!
Once sat, we waited about 40 minutes to get our food which was worth the wait and absolutely delicious! Great flavor on the pulled pork, brisket, and mac n cheese! It came with plain white bread (not toasted or buttered), wished that was a roll instead. Also it only came with 1 cup of bbq for 2 meals, and only 1 flavor. Would love some variety. And need napkins at the table.
Overall vibe is great and love that they have arcade machines in the front! Definitely looking forward to coming back on a less busy day!
Good food and music..
I lucked out by going in a Wednesday night.
They have live music.
I got to catch Dooley Wilson playing tonight. ..so good.
The food is really good.
The owner and everyone working are super nice as well.
If you haven’t been here,
Check it out.
I can’t believe I haven’t been here sooner.
I’ll be back.
Loved it can’t wait to come back and try more .
I love BBQ. It’s my favorite food in the world. When I am not smoking meat or eating smoked meat, I am thinking about smoked meat. To say my expectations for barbecue are high would be an understatement. But let me tell you – Chef Paul at Riverside Barbeque is the real deal! I’ve been three times now since they opened and every time, it blows my mind!
My favorite so far is the “Dazed and Confused” which is the most delicious, buttery sweet potato you’ve ever had, covered in Mac n cheese, pulled pork, green onion, BBQ butter, and other stuff I’m forgetting. I also highly, HIGHLY, recommend the potatoes (no clue what the secret sauce is on them, but it’s epic), and the burnt ends. Absolutely delicious! If barbeque could be life altering, this is it!
Pictured are two desserts. The meat is so good, I had to try the desserts even though I am always way too full after eating the generous portions of meat. Hands down, the best banana pudding I’ve ever had. The cream on top is rich, sweet, and tastes like it was handmade by a French pastry chef! it’s amazing. The other dessert I tried was an apple cobbler with ice cream. This thing weighed like 5 pounds! Also amazing! My wife and I had to “spoon dual” over who got to finish the whipped cream (I lost).
You gotta go to Riverside! If you like BBQ, smoked meats, great desserts, and an awesome atmosphere, this place is it! The pinball machines are super cool, too.
