Blushing Bombshell
MY BREAD (BECAUSE THATS ALL IT WAS) WAS READY IN UNDER 5 MINS. LITTLE DID I KNOW THAT I WOULD HAVE A SANDWICH THAT TASTED LIKE NOTHING AND HAD ABSOLUTELY BARE MINIMUM ON IT. I ORDED A #2 ADDED OIL AND VINEGAR AND CHEESE. THE LADY THAT MADE MY SANDWICH PROBABLY ONLY PUT 2 SLICES OF ROAST BEEF, 1 SLICE OF CHEESE, TINY BIT OF LETTUCE AND 2 TOMATOS. IT WAS HORRIBLE. THAT WAS MY 1ST TIME THERE AND IT WILL FOR SURE BE MY LAST. THEY NEED TO BRING BACK FIRESTONE SUBS BECAUSE JIMMY JOHNS IS NOT IT.

Freshly made subs with fresh ingredients makes a great meal. What I like about Jimmy John’s is the quality of the ingredients. The service at this particular franchise was friendly, patient and helpful, a good combination. Only 2 tables for sitting and a countertop with a couple of stools.

JJ used to be a few steps above Subway in all aspects. Not anymore. Not sure if this location has issues or they all do (I suspect it’s both) but the bread is smaller, stale and not as tasty, the meat is minimal and the sub was just sloppy all together for $8 something. And I wish they asked if we would like our subs cut or not as a courtesy. I wont be going back ever again. Its just not worth it. The young may who took my order was kind and professional though. Also they left something off my sandwhich and I had to go back on top of it being less than mediocre in enjoyment. Added my mustard and peppers like I was at home. I thought it paid for a service

I was on my limited lunch break from work and ordered a small sub to enjoy real quick for lunch. I ordered my sub with extra meat and the young man at the register charged me for it. When I got my sub it had one small thin piece of turkey in it like they were trying to play a joke on me. I asked them about my double meat and the lady said that since I ordered a small sandwich I wasn’t entitled to more meat for the extra money I paid. On top of that the employees were very rude to me when I asked for who I could talk to in corporate to go above them since there wasn’t anything they could do about it. I honestly felt like I was being robbed. I would never recommend this place. Sorry you both don’t enjoy your jobs.

Today’s visit was to this location because our normal stop further north on York Road has closed. This was our first time here and also, unfortunately, still during the COVID-19 pandemic. Because of this, dining inside wasn’t an option.

They had appropriate signage posted on the front windows and doors to let’s patrons know what to expect with walking in: facemask required, maintain 6ft from others, no dining inside, & sorry for the inconvenience.

I walked in and ordered our usual sandwiches: #4 Turkey Tom w/light mayo for my wife, and the #12 Beach club for myself. The cashier couldn’t hear me at first with our masks and his being behind a plexiglass sheet so I repeated my order for his benefit.

Once my order was placed and tendered, I informed them that I needed to use the restroom and would be back (as quick as they are, my sandwiches weren’t ready yet anyway).

I went toward the back which is their typical dining room and their chairs and tables were stacked, just like every other restaurant during the pandemic.

I entered the restroom and it was spotless. Next to Chick-fil-A, Jimmy Johns does a fantastic job of keeping their restrooms squeky clean and welcoming. And, every time I go into a JJ restroom, it’s always equally entertaining to look at all the funny tiles that only JJ has in their restrooms relating to bathroom humor.

On the way out, I enjoyed reading all their signs and posted a few here.

The one downside with this visit was the amount of avocado on my sandwich was lacking compared to the portions at other Jimmy Johns. But it was lunch and an otherwise win for food, safety, cleanliness and overall satisfaction.

I’ve worked across the country going to these all over. This is my favorite one I’ve been to. The service is EXCELLENT. The food is EXCELLENT (especially the new Ultimate Italian). They’ve always got some fun music playing. You all are great! Keep it up 3/15/25
