I went for my birthday dinner on 3/15/25. The food was excellent!!! The atmosphere was comfortable. The lighting was perfect. phenomenal experience!. I had the salmon and bananas foster for dessert. Everything was so delicious. The staff was polite and attentive , they are still learning and this location is new, That’s why I only gave service 4 STARZ but other than that this was the best birthday dinner I’ve ever had! in a long time. The experience was excellent. I hope Edwin’s on Cedar is here to stay!

Yesterday, my friends and I had the absolute pleasure of enjoying brunch at Edwin’s, and I have to say, the experience was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we walked in, we were treated to excellent service, thanks to our friendly and personable server, Alex. Alex was attentive, warm, and made sure all our needs were met. What I truly appreciated was how he gave credit to the rest of the team and even asked if we’d like to meet Head Chef CiCi—of course, we said yes!
Chef CiCi is phenomenal. Not only did she do an incredible job with the food, but she also took the time to share her passion for the culinary arts. You can truly taste the love and care she puts into every dish. The grits? Absolutely flavorful, creamy, and luxurious—pure perfection.
And let’s talk about Chef James! Chef James crafted the most tender, giant waffles paired with a Cinnamon Butter that was out of this world. It had the perfect balance of cinnamon with a praline-like flavor that I know I’ll never be able to replicate at home. It was divine!
The Prime Rib? *Chef’s Kiss*—so tender and flavorful, it was a standout dish. Oh, and did I mention we were treated to a round of champagne?
A time was truly had, and I can’t wait to go back! If you’re looking for an unforgettable brunch experience, Edwin’s is the place to be.

I was just visiting town for the first time and looking for a place to smoke a stoge. Apparently Ohio has a law against cigar bars, but this restaurant has a lounge located at the back that’s kind of detached. It gives off speakeasy vibes. All the employees are so nice too. I made it there twice on my trip and wasn’t expecting to! Glad I found it. Would recommend it to anyone. The cigar bar manager was top notch.

So I am a cigar aficionado and I travel all over the country going to cigar places. But, I live in the Heights and I was super excited about this place opening. I have to say that the atmosphere is fine and the cocktails are fine. The cigar selection is also very minimal and that is OK because I understand that it’s expensive to have a huge humidor. And, all that would be fine, but with the service, I feel like all the servers were just hanging out with one another, and nobody was concerned about me, or getting my cocktail in a timely manner or checking on me after my cocktail was delivered. Once my cocktail was done, I sat there for quite a while, and nobody came back. I finally decided to leave and they asked about my experience and I told them, and they did, to their credit, pay for my cocktail, but I really hope they do better going forward. I will go back another time since they were kind enough to comp my drink, but I really hope the experience is a better one.

Had a wonderful night with the Democrats of Cleveland Heights five stars for the young man named Scott who was on wait staff he was very kind make sure everybody was satisfied kept bringing water wiping the tables down conversational and a kind way making sure we were all okay five stars I’ll be back this is going to be a nice patio set and everybody was enjoying the oyster bar I had the delicious oyster Rockefeller one of the best I’ve had in quite a while and delicious selections of wine and cocktails too the bartender was very nice as well.

Let me tell you, the bacon was SPECTACULAR. We could decide so we got 2 dishes to share for the table, Strawberry Shortcake French Toast and the Lemon Bluberry Pancakes. Bothe delicious and definitely big enough for sharing. There were 5 of us and we had leftovers.
The Corned Beef Hash, Omlette and Basic Breakfast were all very good. Will definitely be back.

Disappointed after hearing so much about this place. I was at a birthday brunch, and there were 10 of us. The service was inconsistent, although we were there at 1pm and they “close” at 2pm Sundays. My order was the last to arrive, and I waited a long time for it without any server noticing (the others at the other end had finished their food already). As a result, my potatoes were overcooked and hard. The Eggs Benedict was just OK, and the muffin was not toasted. Eggs were perfectly poached, though. Others seemed to enjoy their food but no raves. The Gravalax was missing things and was a sparse plate. I think they were having issues because the manager came over at the end and asked the host how everything was, but they didn’t come to my end of the table. They were super accommodating about separate checks, and added an automatic service charge of 20 percent (bravo to them). They were also great about cutting an outside birthday cake. Valet park in front, or lot in the back. I might try them again, but I won’t rush back.

The food was not bad, but it was definitely not extraordinary. We had the Shaker Square breakfast with bacon and a biscuit and also steak and eggs. Shaker Square breakfast is what you get anywhere. The biscuit was ok, nothing great. Some reason I was expecting Southern buttermilk biscuits. The steak and eggs were ok. The steak was done correctly but lacked flavor or seasoning. Overall, it was just ok. Service was amazing, and I loved the atmosphere. Perhaps we chose the wrong food.

We did brunch at Edwins Too last Sunday! Food was great! My Bloody Mary was really good!! She had biscuits and gravy, I had Eggs Benedict and both were really good! Atmosphere was great! We ate at the bar, as always, and Dan was a very good and friendly bartender! Definitely will be coming back! Keep up the great work Brandon!!
