The food tasted good, which is about the only positive thing I can say.
The lady who helped me acted like she couldn’t have cared less about what I was saying, and it showed when my entire order was rang in incorrectly. I order 2 buffalo chicken Cafe specials, they were rang in as a plain chicken special, then I ordered a chicken parm sandwich with a side salad and ranch (which I repeated at least two times), and she rang up just the sandwich. After receiving my food, I had to ask for the side salad and then realized once I got home that we didn’t receive buffalo chicken, but there was no fixing it since i lived out of town.
I’m glad the food was at least good, which is the only reason I gave 3 stars, but we were still disappointed that the whole order was wrong.

Absolutely outstanding from top to bottom. Service was prompt, friendly and responsive. I had the Reuben and it was one of the best Reubens I’ve ever had. In fact, it was so good that I’m concerned that the next time I come I will just keep ordering it instead of trying some of the other things on the menu. My friend had a burger and was similarly impressed. I will definitely be back.

I would have given Blu Jae Cafe a better rating (4 stars) but for one very important point of serving the public – customer service. When we entered the restaurant there were 6-7 people at the end of the counter (closest to the kitchen) visiting. We were not greeted and had to seat ourselves. We were ignored until one of the people said something to the waitress. This type of customer service continued throughout our stay. One of our party (a child) needed to use the restroom. Someone was working on the sink in the women’s bathroom. Instead of offering the use of the men’s bathroom we again were ignored. She was finally asked if she would like to use the men’s. The waitress did not return to our table to see if we were doing okay or needed anything.
On the plus side the food was okay and large portions were served. Perhaps some training on customer service is upcoming.

Love this restaurant. We had a great lunch and came back for lava cake after the shops closed. Friendly, great service and food. Generous portions and absolutely delicious. I’m very specific as to bacon being very crispy, and the chef accommodated my request perfectly. Everything was clean, including the restrooms.

Super friendly, good food, large filling portions, and seating is easy. The French onion soup is a meal unto itself, HIGHLY recommended. The Italian sodas also make for a good walking dessert 🙂 the owner, Jen, is usually there and is happy to visit with anyone who makes the choice to dine in. Daily specials are also great, bring an appetite!

Went today and waited way too long for the server to take our order and for the food to arrive (there were 2 other couples in the place).When the food did come, my tenderloin was burnt and I found what looked like beard hair on my plate and in the breading on my tenderloin. GROSS!!!!
