Chef’s kiss to this amazing restaurant! We found it on a google search (vegan food in Sacramento). I’m gluten free, my friend is vegan, and our other friend is game to try anything! It’s always been a secret goal of mine to find a fabulous vegan place my vegan friend didn’t already know about – and Village of Om Plant Kitchen fulfilled that goal!
The atmosphere was amazing – we walked right in on a Saturday mid afternoon. The staff and service was attentive, delightful, and helpful when it came time to pick what to order.
Everything was 10/10. The Ziggy roll was the absolute star of the show… the fried rice was delicious… curry was phenomenal… stir fry was hearty and packed with yummy veggies and the dessert was perfect.
My only regret is not being able to try more rolls off the menu… but we were too full after sharing all those dishes family-style! I can not wait to go back to try more!

This place is simply amazing. My partner and I were able to walk in for an early dinner without a reservation (5pm on a Saturday) and were seated immediately. The staff was incredibly kind and our server so sweet, she was so helpful walking us through the menu as this was our first time dining here. We ordered their salt and pepper tofu (the perfect crisp pause and soft air like tofu inside), corn ribs, Oshi salmon roll, seasonal sweet fire roll and a smokey vale roll and a non alcoholic Mai tai. Words cannot describe how delicious everything was. 100/10 easily. Great spot for a dinner date. The only negative part of this review is that our favorite roll (sweet fire) is seasonal. =) total for our tab came to $98 (before tip)

It was a pleasant surprise. We went there not knowing what to expect. The place was not crowded. They had interesting drinks, okay to taste. We had their rolls as an appetizer and they were perfect. We also had their eggplant dish and a fried rice dish. Again, very, very good. The service was good too. A restaurant I will definitely go back to.

Off the hook. Been here a cpuple times now. Corn BBQ and the Lion’s Mane cast iron dish were two super amazing michilen level dishes. Sashimi sampler also super unique. Mixed drinks are amazing. Wish they had beer on tap. Loved the live music.

Yeah, this place is sick. The vibe is heavy on romance and the food was super good. Someone in that kitchen knows what they’re doing cause the curry was excellent and the rolls and mocktails were thoughtful and taste amazing.

I visited this restaurant recently for a special evening, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The ambience was absolutely lovely — warm, cozy, and perfect for a date night. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere set the tone for a wonderful evening.
The food was nothing short of exquisite. We tried the Upbeat Rolls, Korean Bulgogi, and the Better Meat Lemongrass Rice Noodle — and every dish was absolutely amazing. Each plate was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, a perfect balance of creativity and authenticity.

Absolutely delicious! It’s insane how good everything is. Vegan sushi that has been actually thought of and not just thrown on a menu. The atmosphere is super relaxing and our server Ginny was friendly and thoughtful and gave us great recommendations. This is our new favorite place! I can’t stress how incredible this Village of OM is and how good it feels to have thoughtful vegan dishes! Great date night spot!

This restaurant is unexpected. From the outside, it is difficult to tell there is a restaurant inside. Even after stepping inside, you don’t have a full view of the dining space, which was a pleasant surprise. The dim lighting and olive tree create a nice ambiance.
Moving onto the food, my dining partner and I shared the okra and oyster mushroom starters and then finished with the eggplant main. All three had distinct flavors and were tasty.
Our one complaint is that the passion fruit drinks that were supposed to have spiced rum in them did not appear to have any rum in them. The waitress insisted they did, but we were not convinced.

Andy was a great bartender, gave great recommendations, and delivered amazing service. We came here accidentally when we saw a sign that read plant sushi, and even though we already ate, we decided to share a roll and check it out. We tried the seared eggplant nigiri and it blew our expectations; I highly recommend. The mezcal mule was tasty and well crafted and it had a very nice presentation with smoke and all, an entire little show. This is a cute date spot for sure but they also have a bar area if you want something more relaxed or just having dinner alone.
