I had the pulled chicken with there gluten-free bbq sauce and coleslaw.
Then for dessert they modified a banana pudding to not have the vanilla wafers and tasted good.
It looked like a great place to have a family or business catering.
— Food. Pulled Pork with beans and cornbread. Mmm.
— Service. Bartender was attentive even on a slow day
— Atmosphere. TVs with sports. Good vibe.
Overall second time I’ve been here and both experiences were good.
I can get over average food, but when it’s a chore for the server to do their job it’s pretty disappointing. I don’t expect to be treated like a king when I go out to eat, but doing the minimum would be nice. I asked her if she was tired as she came up to me with her head in her hand. Said she was moving late. I get it. We all have those days. I cleaned up the area with napkins at the spot at the bar I sat at. She didn’t even move the glass and other things from my area until the end. Not one check in during my meal. Just wanted some silverware to eat my coleslaw. Paid my bill with $100. Tabs was $29.82. Received $70 back instead of $70.18. Might sound petty in my part but come on. For change she gave me three $20’s and one $10. Most people break the bills to make change for a tip.
BEWARE.
AWESOME DISPLAY, BRISKET SUCKED.
AND TO ONLY TAKE OFF $4 on a $20 sandwich was more insulting. IF YOU LOOK AT MY POST 99% OF THESE ARE POSITIVE IT IS NOT MY NATURE TO SPREAD POSITIVE VIBES, BUT (RUB MY BRISKET THE WRONG WAY AND WE GOT A ISSUE)
“BROTHER JIMMYS BBQ, IS FAKING THE FUNK. THEY ARE SELLING YOU DISPLAYS (HAD FREE SAMPLES OF PULLED PORK WITH FLIES AT THE ENTRANCE TO LURE YOU IN) AND NOT GREAT FOOD. MCDONALDS WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER, THE TRUTH HURTS, AND WHY I MADE THIS POST. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS LAZY PLACE WHAT SO EVER.
We arrived about 1 hour before closing so it wasn’t too busy.
The waitress was immediately attentive and very friendly.
We ordered food and it arrived within 10 minutes.
It was excellent, juicy and tasted amazing.
The place has a great vibe too.
We had the sharer for 2 (wet and dry ribs, brisket, pulled pork and chicken), a full rack of wet ribs and also a wet ribs and shrimp combo between 4 adults. Massive portions.
So glad we dropped by!
