Food overall is not bad, sukiyaki was actually quite good, it was not over sweet or salty, the Hokkaido beef was really good. Potatoes wedges was ordinary and just so so, burdock chip was not bad, teriyaki chicken was good. Service wise is friendly and efficient. Menu has reasonable varieties even for the vegetarian, sashimi is acceptable but not excellent grade………atmosphere wise is cozy and is like a family style kind of place…….

Amazing and cozy store tucked in the corner of Hirafu village. The food is great and the people working there are even greater.
Nice place to sit down and have a few beers with hotpot after a long day on the snow. Price is nice compared to some other places in the area that took way too much liberty with their price tags. Not too crowded most of the time. Overall a nice semi-hidden gem, away from the busier parts of town.

Very cozy and amazing service. I’m gluten free and has the best tuna roll I’ve had in Japan. The gluten free salmon sashimi rice bowl was good but a bit expensive for what it was. Appreciate the dedicated gluten free menu.

Tiny restaurant where reservations are a must. Walk ins turned away because the restaurant is so popular.
Food was delicious and great selection of sake with a local brand recommended to us by the barman. Service great and home made matcha ice cream an excellent dessert!

Great spot for sushi and fresh fish in Hirafu! A little expensive but the blowtorched salmon was very good. Felt safe eating here with a tree nut allergy and they have a gluten free menu if you need it!

Very cozy spot and the food was delicious. The oysters were the best I’ve ever eaten, we highly recommend!! It’s busy, so you’ll need a reservation.

This place is AMAZING!! Especially if you’re looking for some vegetarian or vegan options. They have a variety of meat dishes too, and specific menus for vegetarians and vegans. Tried some of the local plum wines and it was delicious. Food felt healthy while also being very filling. Staff were friendly and spoke English too. Would recommend making a reservation ahead of time since the place is small and cozy. They have some walk-in sitting though. Would def come back here again!

Reasonable izakaya place in niseko that can cater to large groups. My fav was the hokke fish, fried octopus, burdock chips (tried it for the first time in my life and I loved it) and fried cheese. Sashimi was okay. Drinks were relatively affordable too
