Hands down, this is the BEST Chinese restaurant in Forsyth/Stokes counties!!!
I’m super picky about my Lo Mein and they are the only place that CONSISTENTLY has amazing,fresh, perfectly seasoned, tender Lo Mein noodles.
Anytime I eat at any other Chinese restaurant, I always think ” this just isn’t as good as Golden Wok.”.
The food is always made fresh to order, so there’s a small wait…but the food is piping hot and delicious!
I love their General Tso’s, I order it not so spicy and it’s perfect every single time.

We ordered from here this week because our go to spot was closed so we thought we’d give it a try. I figured our total based on their menu on their website. My husband picked it up and surprise! It was more than what we calculated. When he asked about it he was told the menu online is not accurate. 1st THING: They should update that information since this world does almost everything online!
Ok, fine, he paid the price and brought the food home. When I took the sauce bowl out of the bag the bottom of the bowl fell out and sauce went everywhere. Come to find out they put a styrofoam container on top of a very hot dish and it melted the bowl. IM PRETTY SURE THATS ONE REASON OTHER PLACES USE PIECES OF CARDBOARD BETWEEN THESE ITEMS.
The wonton soup noodles were mushy and fell apart in the soup. The crab Rangoon tasted like tuna fish. The sweet and sour chicken was overcooked and tough to chew. The eggrolls were burnt!
I have to say, we definitely didn’t get good or even decent food for the $65 we spent.
We will NOT be going back there, LESSON LEARNED!

Location is right next to the tractor supply I called in for a to go order. She told me 10 to 15 it took exactly 15 and it was just the owner, taking orders and cooking as well. Absolutely the best sesame chicken I’ve ever had. I also ordered the chicken and broccoli and two fried rice which were I mean I don’t know how it could be any better. Eggrolls were great as well and they have a large selection of drinks, even diet Dr Pepper, which is great yeah definitely the best around.

We’ve recently been trying Chinese places all over town to see which I like best, and sadly, this isn’t a contender. I ordered a quart of their vegetable lo mein, and the noodles were extremely overcooked, literally soggy, I couldn’t even finish a quarter of it . The egg rolls were so-so, but my husband did enjoy the sweet and sour chicken! The pricing was phenomenal, if that’s what we’re going off of- then 5 stars- but the food wasn’t up to par.

Have been ordering from here for years now. Staff always friendly and helpful. Food is awesome! Never had a bad meal from here. My favorite is general tso and their egg rolls but anything you get will be freshly cooled and delicious.

First time ordering takeout from here. Restaurant looked like an average Chinese takeout joint. I ordered shrimp egg foo young and the gravy was like a broth soup and the main parts was scrambled. Hot and sour soup had barely any contents aside from some mushrooms. I will not order from here again.

Love their food. I’ve lived in the area for 9 years and they have been amazing !!! The white rice is always fresh. The shrimp cooked to perfection. The veggies crispy yet tender, the chicken juicy and never over done, As well as great prices !!! Be bold and try anything their really good ☺️

I used to love this place but since the pandemic she has raised her prices tremendously. I always order the salt and pepper shrimp because is the ONLY place that makes this dish. It was $10. Now it’s $15 same serving size same amount of shrimp. I always call ahead and she always says 20 minutes. My last visit I waited an hour. I know that she waited until I arrived to start my ordered. I would not recommend if you want something fast. The wait times are insane and the price for Chinese is almost as much as a Steakhouse.
