I’ve been the living in Duval for 20 years. And have never seen this restaurant improve in food quality. All they do is raise their prices for out of the can garbage. So I don’t come very often due to the poor quality food. But My wife and I went there tonight. I literally had the worst tacos I’ve ever had. The shredded beef was so tough it made it very hard to eat. I mean seriously. How hard is it to tenderize your beef. But when your food comes out in 5 minutes you know it’s all canned crap in steamer plates .My wife’s enchiladas were awful as well. It makes no sense that people give this place full stars. I think they only do it because they live in the town of Duvall. If another Mexican restaurant came in with high quality food, this place would be out of business in no time.

Best Mexican food in the area!
The service is outstanding too!
We walked in the restaurant and I joked with the host to take us to a table that had Cadillac Margaritas at it…no joke, less than a minute later, he came back from the bar with 2 Cad’s!!!!!
That is not only great service but more importantly, thoughtfulness.
Oh yeah, the food is consistently top notch.

This is my go to place in my town. Mostly because the staff are so awesome! They know me now and have for a long time. They have seen my kids grow up right in front of them and they treat them like a part of the Ixtapa family as well. The food is great depending on what you get but the staff are even better and that’s what keeps me coming back again and again! Love you guys!

As soon as you walk in your greeted with a smile and hello. We have always been seated as soon as we walk in. The wait staff are prompt and helpful with selecting your order. The kitchen staff get your order out to you very quickly and hot. The margaritas are amazing!! ☆☆☆☆☆

Nice restaurant with a traditional decoration. Service was fast and friendly. On Monday evening we were greeted and seated without any waiting even with restaurant being pretty busy at the moment. Good selection in the menu. Food tasted good. Really liked big and heavy Margaritas. A little bit pricey. For the family of 3 (2 adults and 1 8y.o. kid) we paid $95.

My coworker took me here for lunch. The starter was chips, salsa and bean dips. That was good start. I ordered lunch small combinations with tamale. It was good portion. The Highlight of the dish was the bean. That is why it is just 3 stars. Tamale was on dry side. I have to pile on salsa to be able to finish it. I did not finish the rice. The service was good, the guy came by to check on us often.

Love the Bar! Plenty of TV sets showing live sports. Great tasting and nicely priced lunch specials. Ixtapa Coffee (for the over-21s) is outstanding!
