We stay near this place, in the Illinois area, and wanted to give this restaurant a try. We ordered take out on Saturday August 9th, 2025. I ordered the walleye dinner. All I can say is that this was our first and last time getting anything from this place. You could smell the fish through the bag. And the fish itself was cooked so hard you could not bite through it. The coleslaw looked and taste a mess. What a waste of money. Don’t bother. You’ve been warned!

Got the 28oz steak for 2 with my husband. I’ve never seen a steak that large that was quality all the way through. Cooked perfectly. And the Butterfinger dessert.. dont even get me started. 2 steak dinners with sides, crab meat app, cocktails, bread, AND dessert. – under $60! No way your finding that in the city!

Cozy, casual supper club. Everyone makes you feel at home–service is very friendly. My husband got the ribeye & says it’s the best he’s had for a long time. I had a burger & it was wonderful! Great flavor & very juicy! Others in our party had the smothered chicken & said it was awesome! I would recommend this place to anyone! Can’t wait to go back!

First time visitor last night after my friend raved about their Thursday steak special. I came away pleased. This is a very unique place with the perfect rustic feel you’d want for a place just outside a small Midwestern town. The food was prepared well and our service was excellent. Be aware that they don’t accept credit cards.
