But
Only good for bottled or canned drinks.
Cocktails do not match the description.
Beef carpaccio ended up to be basterma. Basterma is cured, carpaccio is raw meat cooked in acid!
Herring tartare is nothing but smoked renga salad, which has nothing to do with tartare!
The reservation process is so weird (you have to send a dm and the replies are sometimes late) I get it because the place is limited, but needs improvement. The food is a hit or miss, when you know what you like it’s more than perfect! Our favourites are the Mushroom cappuccino, the chips, the wedges, shrimp avocado salad, blue cheese dips and others… The cocktails could be improved
But it wasn’t just Andrew who made the visit exceptional. Yousab, with his amazing customer service and friendly attitude, made me feel like I was catching up with old friends rather than being just another customer.
And let’s talk about the food! The menu at L’apèro is a delightful blend of flavors. Each dish was a masterpiece. Whether you’re a foodie or just looking for a great meal, this place won’t disappoint. ️
The overall atmosphere is equally impressive. The open-air concept, combined with the thoughtfully designed interiors, creates a perfect setting for any occasion. Whether it’s a lively night out with friends or a cozy breakfast, L’apèro has you covered.
In summary, if you’re in Alexandria, don’t miss out on this gem. L’apèro is more than a Bistro; it’s an experience that leaves you wanting more.
Food and drinks are exceptionally good for the price.
Just make sure you book because it became an Alexandria Gem and is now always fully booked .
We went without a booking yet they seated us on a Thursday night.
Guests there are so decent, no genZ hassle
Located in the loveliest place to my heart l’institut français ❤️
