Ordered an omelet and hash browns which were both excellent. Liz brought me some gravy to try and after having it I wish I had ordered the biscuits and gravy. It reminded me of the gravy I make. It had a little kick to it which I loved. Great out of the way place.

Great place! We’re “outsiders” we hit one dive bar a month with a group of friends to try new places and this place was welcoming and the drinks were great, Jim our server was attentive and fun and we had a great time. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is smoking allowed in the bar but that’s how small town dive bars are I guess.

Seems like the place could use some updating and more employees as only ONE person works the whole shift- seems like the poor worker stays waaaaaaay behind if working like that! One employee couldn’t possibly tend to the bar, work the counter/cash register/slot machine payouts ($ business), wait on the tables as THE SINGLE ONLY waitress and table buster, AND the cooking/cleaning back in the kitchen. Not enough employees to function around in an operation like this one without total chaosis if u ask me!? But hey, the customer service is absolutely above average and they r still on the map. So yeah, I’d recommend this place if u have some patience and dont mind waiting…the countryside setting is ahhhmazing and in the spring and fall especially, bc of the outdoor section on the back deck. The bar is always filled with fun, friends and familiar faces 🙂
