This was the best meal I’ve had all year! I got the pad Thai and asked for level 2 spice and it was phenomenal. My husband got the red curry with avocado, shrimp and chicken. The flavor and fresh ingredients were so good. The staff were so friendly and efficient. We went in a Friday night and the restaurant was full and there was also a steady stream of take out orders getting picked up the whole time we were there. Definitely best Thai food in the area. Can’t wait to go back!

Basil Leaf Thai Cuisine is hands down one of the best dining spots around! The food is always amazing, the service outstanding, and the people are truly delightful.
The Siam Rolls were perfectly crispy and fresh, with a spectacular dipping sauce that took them to the next level. The Chicken Satay was tender, flavorful, and cooked just right. Their Pho is absolutely superb—comforting, aromatic, and deeply satisfying. For dessert, the Fried Ice Cream was the perfect finish, crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside.
I’ve ordered here several times and have never once been disappointed. Every dish is consistently delicious, and it’s clear the staff takes pride in both the food and the service. Basil Leaf Thai Cuisine is a must-try—easily the best Thai restaurant in the area!

Really excited that Basil Leaf claimed the space. Great to be able to eat in again.
Service is welcoming and quick! Food is delicious and super fresh. Started with spring rolls which were great. Did the peanut dressing salad, (so rich!) and the hot sour soup which just hit the spot.
Do yourself a favor and get the Panang Curry and Pad Thai. And then for the ultimate treat, combine the two for a super meal fusion.

We have passed this place a few times and have talked about stopping in, I am SO glad we did. The service was amazing, and we got our food so fast. Both entrees were delicious, we also ordered Thai ice tea and Thai iced coffee, they are a must try if you haven’t! For dessert, we ordered the fried ice cream, boy that was the cherry on top and completed the dinner perfectly. Constant flow of people in and out the entire time we were there. With only three staff working and that flow of customers, they are a well-oiled machine! And so kind, each staff member would welcome and say good by every time someone walked in or out! We are definitely coming back. The atmosphere is also very clean and welcoming.

This is Elyria’s hidden gem. The food is delicious, the place is clean, and the owners are nice. I liked their food so much that I came back the next day. Everything that I tried is seasoned just right.

Such a wonderful find! We had no idea this restaurant was here. The food was amazing and the server was sooo polite and friendly. She understood my gluten allergy and helped me navigate the menu. All of our food was fantastic. We will absolutely be back!

The food is delicious. Unfortunately, there is only one server. She is great and works so hard. She moves from one table to another without getting a rest. We often wait longer because this great server also handles pick-up orders, so it takes more time for our food to arrive, or our order to be taken. We keep going back because it is a lovely, clean, cozy restaurant with delicious food choices, that always arrives hot when it reaches us. And, a server who goes out of her way to make sure every customer has been taken care of and is happy with their meal.
I only gave 4 stars when it came to service. Not because our server wasn’t giving us excellent service, but because one person cannot do everything without a break.

Unreal! I got the pad Thai as an avid pad Thai fan and it was perfect. I loved how the tofu was in smaller bites than I usually see them. We had a huge carry-out order and the person who checked us out took great care to make sure that our entire order was there. Wonderful food, wonderful experience!

Amazing food. I thought Raan Thai was good but this place is definitely better. The staff were very welcoming and definitely took the time to cater to our needs. The head chef checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable with the spice level. Evidently they are under a new management now, and even though this was my first visit, I hope they continue to perform!!
I tried their Garlice Salmon which was 9/10 and the Thai Iced Tea was not overly sweet either so definitely a solid 9/10 too! And definitely try out their shrimp shimai 10/10!

Finally had a chance to try out the newer Thai restaurant out in Elyria. First off, we were enthusiastically greeted by all the staff. Nūt (forgive me if I misspelled her name) was our server and she made great conversation, was very polite, and chipper. We ordered the Brown Sugar milk tea boba to start and my entree was the Thai Basil. The portion was huge! The chicken was uniquely peppered and really held the Thai spices throughout. The veggies within my dish were very crispy and fresh. I’m so excited to finally have this incredible Asian eatery in my home town!
