This was one of our favorite places for a date night happy hour. We visit almost weekly. Service is always great, food is good and drinks are great. However, recent changes to their happy hour (no longer on the weekends and/or until 6) and charging us to use a card has left a sour taste in our mouth. In fact our bill is almost double then what it use to be. There are so many choices in town and the small changes really make us question if its worth visiting any more.

Immediately became one of my new favorite date night, girls night, every night type of spot. Tried the asada, pork and quesabirria tacos.. DELICIOUS!!! Meat was tender and juicy. Highly recommend the street corn dip!!

I had a really great experience here recently. Service was on point and the happy hour apps are awesome! What really stood out was the extra kind detail offered when I was leaving. I commute by bike and it was raining and I was offered a towel to wipe off my bike seat because the manager remembers seeing me carry a helmet in. That’s an extra level service and kindness that really stood out. Thanks and well done!

We’ve been coming here since they opened. Most visits have been good: tasty cocktails, great bartender, mostly friendly staff and good food. But my issue with this place is the management, not the staff. They don’t staff up for busy hours, resulting in really slow service. For example, waiting 10+ minutes for any service like water or acknowledgment we’re even on the patio (it’s spring, beautiful and 70F outside). And I can count 2-3 visits that featured really messed up checks (ALWAYS verify your bill before payment here). They make good on it if you’re persistent, but man, it really kills the experience. Toast POS is not that hard! My wife thinks I’m being very generous for this review, so take it for what it’s worth.

My husband and sister came in for drinks and dinner. We have been in a couple of times but this time the restaurant was packed. We pondered trying another establishment but we were greeted with a smile by Austin. He got us drinks immediately while we were waiting for a table to clear up. As soon as a table was available, it was cleared and set up within seconds for our group. I was so blown away by the attentiveness and customer service that Austin and the manager provided to us. We will be back and be recommending to all of our friends!

Great afternoon at Barria! We loved it the adult only atmosphere. Our server was amazing (forgot her name but long dark hair). She truly made the experience with great recommendations and charisma.
The Quesabirria Beef tacos were so delicious. I enjoyed the Barrio Margaritas with Tajin but all the drinks sound delicious.

What a bummer. I returned to The Barrio with my family, excited to treat them to a great experience. It was anything but. One of our party ordered their tacos gluten free and were told they would come on corn tortillas; perfect. When the “meal” arrived it was about half the size as another member of our party who ordered it without changes. Another member had the black bean tacos – it was simply a light scattering of what looked and tasted like part of a can of corn mixed with part of a can of beans. We reordered the street corn dip, it had previously been a generous portion, however on this night it just covered the bottom of the bowl, less than half of what we had received last time. But the worst part was the staff’s interaction with a dog that was dining with its owners. Two staff members petted the dog and one brought the dog a big bowl of water. After handling the dog, they picked up the menus off the table and put them back with the others. Who knows if either of them ever washed their hands, but that’s disgusting and I won’t be back. Really disappointed.

If you see any negative reviews it’s all around the way you pay and order. Get over it people. Going on my phone and ordering a drink and 5 min or less later having that drink delivered in my book I magic. Get with the times! The staff is friendly and water was at our table before I took my jacket off. Food came out so fast I thought maybe they were back there reading my mind or something. Not only is this place cutting edge I wish more restaurants followed suit.

My husband and I were excited to try Barrio. Overall the drinks were strong and good. They are a bit pricey but were worth it. We had steak nachos and asked for no black beans. They were pretty good. I had the Mezcalita and he had The Diablo. The decor was nice, love the skull tapestry on the bench seats. I would just like to see some spanish music incorporated into your play list and that would tie in your whole vibe. Overall cute establishment for drinks, conversation and artisinal street food. We visited on a Saturday at 4pm, happy hour is everyday from 3pm-5pm.
