I really love Rubio’s. Too bad that we don’t have it in Germany. Love the Mango Avocado Salad with grilled Chicken but also the Original Fish Tacos are great! Please make Franchise in Germany Always looking forward to come by when i visit my Friend in California!

Disappointing and false advertising when visiting this store to redeem a coupon that was recently received in the mail. Register employee went to process the order with a $2 discount noted on the mailed coupon only to find out that “discount” is “reflected” on the receipt (see pic) but the total price is not actually discounted! I paid full price for my order without receiving the $2 off! My advice to management would be to ensure your system is actually processing discount codes BEFORE they are mailed to the general public. Not impressed and will think hard next time when deciding to patronize this particular establishment….

Great food and excellent service. We had a large group and Abigail took all our orders and she was very patient. Fish tacos were crispy and flavourful. There was a glitch in the computer, but the manager came out and was able to work around it quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend going here!

I recently discovered Rubio’s in San Diego and I was super excited to discover one in Brentwood upon recently moving here! And as much as I love Rubio’s, I might just have to keep going to a different location. I’ve eaten here 3 times and I’m sorry to say the 3rd time was the last time. My order was messed up each time-which I find hilarious considering there’s a sign above the register that makes some sort of promise about getting your order right every time, my fried fish tacos were literally just over fried batter-no fish…did it disintegrate from over cooking? No idea! I asked to sub in chips for my beans and they literally gave me 7 chips-I counted. That’s not even a full serving of tortilla chips!! On top of that, the last time I was there, the staff were bickering amongst each other-super uncomfortable! As much as I love living near a Rubio’s and would legit come here weekly, this location is bad enough to keep me away.
*UPDATE!! Been here recently twice – once in afternoon (which I’d never done before) and then again on a Friday night. Literally a complete 180 of what I went through before regarding service and quality! I know I said I couldn’t go to this location again, but I can’t resist those Fish taco deals on Tuesday’s and Friday’s and since it was around the holidays, I gotta give them another shot, yeah? And so glad I did. I don’t think it’s a fluke due to the holiday season, I noticed new employees and I’m just over the moon. Can’t wait to go back again if I keep getting this type of service!

This place is going downhill. I’ve tried to give them the benefit of the doubt as I used to be a big Rubio’s fan, but no such luck. Sooooo slow, every time I’ve been here. Today, I was warned by an employee that my order would take at least 25 minutes to process, so we pondered for a minute, and then left. I agree with what other say, I could have gotten this food faster at a sit down restaurant, for about the same price, and it probably would have tasted better or had more options at least. I give up…

Rubio’s is absolutely my favorite Fresh Mex restaurant and this location did exceptionally well meeting my dietary needs and making delicious food quickly. The location is very clean and the staff are very friendly. I love that I can get vanilla coke here and the salsa bar is great! Grilled gourmet shrimp tacos are my favorite! And the lobster is sooo good when they have it, seasonally.

First time here, bad service. I ordered two simple fish tacos and took my number to my table. After waiting 32 minutes (I counted), and seeing folks that came in after me getting served, I asked about my order. The girl brought out my tacos and said “they just finished making them”. They were not warm so they had obviously been sitting somewhere for a while, forgotten. I was so hungry I wolfed them down and left. If I was less non-confrontational I would have asked for my money back and went somewhere else.

We loved Rubio’s! Such a great experience here. The fish tacos are excellent, both the mahi-mahi and the regular fish tacos. And what an amazing staff. So friendly, courteous. They really took care of us. We can’t wait to go back to Rubio’s for more.

The food is tasty and fills a niche that just isn’t filled by anything else in town. I want to like this place. The achilles here is the service. It is terrible. The staff is generally apologetic, but it doesn’t make up for 20 minute ticket times, lost/forgotten orders, wrong orders, and lack of training. Every time they mess up they give you a free taco coupon, but I’m sorry to report I have a stack of them.

This was the worse lunch I have ever had. The salad I ordered they said they ran out of romaine and made it with mixed greens. I asked for no rice so could they give me more lettuce. When I received my order the bowl was only a third full and it was $12. When my friend got her salad they made it wrong. When they remade it, it was full of romaine almost to the top of the bowl, when they said they had run out. On top of that, they had no forks out. We asked for a fork and it took about 5 minutes to get a fork. They handed my friend and I forks but never refilled the fork container. And the tables were not clean. I had to ask them to clean them before we could sit down. Hopefully you fix these problems!!
