The service was attentive and very friendly, making the whole experience even better. It is definitely a bit of a splurge, but worth it if you are looking for a memorable high tea experience in Pasadena.
The Langham Hotel itself is stunning, with historic grounds, a beautiful outdoor courtyard and pool, and even a speakeasy-style bar right next to the Terrace restaurant where high tea is served. Would highly recommend all around.
Ordered the French toast- it was huge and had the right flavor and sweetness.
Huevos Rancheros was one of the best I ever tried. It was much better than the ones I had in Mexico.
Shakshuka came in an attractive presentation. Taste was average.
Coffee was average.
The ingredients are so fresh and delicious. Carefully picked and prepared.
On the whole a wonderful experience.
Best croissants I have had in the US.
Worth making a reservation. One of our 2 visits we were waitlisted.
Would return again and would request Sarah

We were here for both breakfast and lunch as we were staying here for 2 nights. The food does not taste as good as they look. Service is good but do not recommend if you are not staying here!
We went for Sunday brunch and had made a reservation in advance—a must, as it gets busy. Most guests opt for the buffet, though an à la carte menu is available. While the buffet isn’t massive, it offers a solid selection of breakfast favorites, including an omelet station, pastries, bacon, sausages, eggs Benedict, and breakfast sandwiches. The salad and yogurt station was a standout, and the fresh fruit selection was plentiful.
Service was excellent—our server made sure our teas were always refilled, and the staff was attentive without being intrusive. Parking is around $15 with validation, which is reasonable for a high-end hotel.
After brunch, we took a stroll through the Japanese garden next to the café, which was a perfect way to unwind and extend the experience. A relaxing and elegant way to spend a Sunday afternoon after church. Highly recommend!
