First time here and we came to celebrate my Uncle’s 70th Birthday. The restaurant is right on the water, so the views are absolutely amazing. The hostesses greeted us warmly, and we chose to sit out on the deck to take in the scenery. It was breezy and comfortable.

It’s a long drive from NY, so we arrived hungry. We asked for bread, but they typically don’t serve it until dinner. Thankfully, our waitress understood and made it happen, bringing out two baskets for our party of eight, lifesaver!

Drinks were great, and we started with the seafood tower (tip: get two if your group is larger than four). For mains, we ordered a variety-lobster roll, burger, tuna tartare, fish and chips, steak and eggs, and the kids’ tuna and fries. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and the service stayed friendly and attentive throughout.

Only downside: there was a $5 per person fee for the cake we brought in, plus a waiver to sign. Still, overall it was a wonderful experience with good food, beautiful views, and a lovely place to celebrate a special occasion.

Great vibes restaurant in Westport, CT. Gorgeous water view with both indoor and outdoor seating. We came for the seafood and it worth the money spent. Surprisingly they made an excellent pizza with whole wheat dough, nice crisp mushroom pizza even though I am not a big fan of it. The squid ink spaghetti with clams was done perfectly, clams were fresh and pasta was al dented. Definitely will go back again!

Absolute perfection. The meal & service were impeccable. We went for dinner on Christmas day. We were seated promptly & didn’t have to wait for anything. Our meals were absolutely delicious & perfectly prepared. The attention from the staff was amazing. We may go back every year if we can.

Great place for a business lunch or friends dinner. The seafood is really good (although we didn’t love the hamachi crudo or the overly ornate and overcooked burger). Try the steamed clams, oysters, and any of the fish entrees. The French fries are also excellent! The grilled seafood salad is tasty (especially the scallops) and the service is good. Desserts are small but good to cap the meal. We’ve been several times recently and will keep in the rotation. If the weather is nice, sit outside on the patio where there’s often live music (summer weekends) and a beach vibe. It’s an authentic Westport evening!

One of the most beautiful spots we’ve ever brunched at! I just couldn’t get over that ocean view! We did the price fix brunch, which we thought was very reasonable and had some great options. We even treated ourselves to a little dessert afterwards! The staff were very attentive and everything came out quickly. We’ll be keeping this spot in mind for future brunches and even special events!

We went to La Plage for our anniversary celebration and were delighted with the service, food, and ambiance. It was just after Christmas so the decorations added that extra sparkle – but so simple and elegant. We had crispy goat cheese, grilled calamari, halibut, fish and chips and lobster bisque – all phenomenal. I cannot recommend highly enough. Make a point to visit this restaurant in 2023. It is so worth it.

Just overall excellence. Staff, food and atmosphere. This will be a place we visit often. Food was fresh and upscale while the atmosphere was relaxing. We never felt rushed or that we waited. Meal was perfectly paced by the incredible staff. The halibut cheeks were one of the best things I have ever eaten. The flavor was rich and the fish was tender. I want to go back and try other menu items, but I have a feeling I will be ordering the halibut cheeks again! I honestly cannot recommend La Plage more . The staff is top notch, location is beautiful and the food was above anywhere else I have eaten in Connecticut.

From start to finish the service was excellent- sat at the bar and Lisa the bartender was outstanding- lobster soup and the cocktail were delicious- the view from the bar is one of the best on the sound. Hidden gem , good vibes , and happy times for a Friday night

Gorgeous place, gets filled up pretty quickly so highly recommended reservations or come right when it opens 11.30am.
I tried steak and eggs do brunch, preparation and taste was exactly as I wanted.
Pistachio cake was to die for.
We sat outside and weirdly it felt uncomfortable with sunglasses and without, so for sunny day indoor might be better.

Lovely restaurant with okay food.

Came here for dinner with the fam and was astounded by the location. It’s at the end of this road overlooking an inlet in the sound. We came in early fall so it was a bit chilly in the evening (we sat outside) but I imagine it’s even more beautiful in the summer.

The service was good though it took a while for us to get a table. Things were a bit disorganized with the hostess. The calamari appetizer was good as was the mussel dish in the prix fixe menu. However, was disappointed with the fish and chips (not much flavor, though came with quite a few chips) as well as the burger (why do they serve it on an english muffin??)

Overall, solid place especially for the vibes. Less bullish on the food though. Desserts were good though (get the sorbet!)
