We’re some local Denver restaurant peeps who are trying to safely find our way through this strange time. While we’re still wondering if everything is still going to turn into a zombie film, we thought, “hey, let’s switch it up for a bit” …And voilà, here we go: During these cold months, we’re going to play with food while blasting some afro-disco and manipulating the heck out of some soy, seitan, exotic spices, and high-heat. And get this, it’s all plant-based, all made from scratch. There’s nothing sophisticated or haughty, just a good food mash-up inspired by Southern Africa and Southern Asia.

This vegan African/Asian American fusion restaurant is amazing. Everything is so good, I’ll be coming back for sure! Everything was super fresh and flavors were amazing. Clearly it’s run by people who care deeply about food!

I agree w/the another reviewer that the Szechuan wings were tough but I just cut them into smaller pieces and happily ate them. The seasoning, especially the mouth numbing pepper, was so good!

Give this place a try, you won’t regret it!

I ordered the szechuan wings and ginger sesame tofu (through Doordash) and goodness what a pleasure this meal was. Pic has been posted from me as well. My only piece of constructive criticism would be that the wings were quite tough to chew. The flavor was awesome though! I absolutely love seeing new vegan restaurants pop up and I’m always happy to support them.

Yum! What a nice surprise to find such interesting and delicious vegan fare nearby!
We got the sweet and sour soup which was fabulous-full of interesting mushrooms and tofu. Spicy and deeply flavorful. Next was the spicy green bean appetizer. Very nice and the beans were not are all overcooked. My husband and I got two different mains. He got the Kung Pao tofu and it was amazing! The tofu was perfect, the sauce was lovely, the veggies were perfectly done, the peanuts were nicely roasted. I got the Munache curry, which was the only dish I wasn’t crazy about. It was supposed to be spicy, but was a bit bland to my taste. I would have liked it better with less liquid and more curry flavor, but the potatoes and tofu were very good. The okra was a bit overcooked, but still nice. So I wouldn’t get that one again, but it wasn’t badly prepared, just not what I was hoping for. We finished off with the sesame balls and they are terrific!!! Toasty, sweet, chewy, cinnamony. Divine. Ordering was super easy, delivery was fast and simple. I love the idea of this place and will definitely try more of their dishes. And always get the sesame balls!

YUM! Ordered the spicy Szechuan green beans, the laziji nuggets, and the bunny chow. All were delicious! The nuggets were a surprise: crispy on the outside, warm on the inside, with a tasty sauce. Loved the bunny chow with its bread bowl. I can see how it would be good in the bowl, but I enjoyed shredding the bread into the curry so it got all good and soaked. Delish!

Tried the General Tso tofu, orange and orange tofu, and the schezuan wings. I love the concept of take oit and delivery and supporting small businesses during these times and I appreciate the unique flavors and spices in the dishes. Two words of caution: The seitan wings were very chewy on the outside and to be honest the inside was rather raw and gummy. I make my own setain and have tried seitan at many restaurants in the 13 years I’ve been vegan so I know what setain should taste like. The spice was interesting; made my tongue very tingly in a way I can’t say I have ever experienced.

We are always on the hunt for delicious takeout and were pleasantly surprised by this new concept! We ordered the Szechuan Wings, Orange & Orange, Kung Pao, and I’m not ashamed to admit, ALL THREE DESSERTS! Everything was incredible! The right amount of spice and well thought out dishes. We will be ordering again very soon.

My gf LOVES spicy food. Like, insanely-spicy-always-adding-chili-flakes-to-everything vibe.
Of the 4 dishes we got, 2 were so unbearably spicy, even she couldn’t eat them! And the other 2 dishes were loaded with sugar.
This kind of vegan restaurant gives vegan food a bad rep. Ie “it must be healthy cus it’s vegan” when in fact it’s loaded with sugar.
Please stop over spicing your food to the point of being unbearable, and please stop adding sugar to your “healthy” dishes!

Pros: delicious affordable vegan fast delivery

Cons: SO won’t let me order it every night.

Ordered: Mapo Tofu – just the right amount of spice

Wanna order next time: bunny chow (hop hop) if loving rabbits is wrong, I don’t wanna be right.

Seriously, this food was amazing. We had the general Tso tofu, kung pao tofu, and hot and sour soup, and everything was phenomenal. Some of the best Asian food I’ve ever had. The hot and sour soup was really spicy, so proceed with caution on that, but it was super flavorful, I don’t even think my mouth could comprehend everything going on.
