I absolutely love this place!
35 and older!
Security is a priority, you must be buzzed in to get into this gem of a place.
Diverse crown with people of all walks of life. Located in Gary, Indiana Hunter’s Inn is the oldest constantly operating tavern in the city of Gary! Rustic hand built wooden bar, old school refrigerator, J&J’s famous Pizza too!!!
Definitely worth stopping in and having a drink and getting a pizza!
Wednesday evening there is a soft tip darts tournament too!

Rather give it 1 star. Atmosphere is not a warm experience. My family and I came to visit this past weekend and women there was very rude through the door…she came to us personally and asked if we “took care” of her bartender when a cash tip was in fact given and let’s be clear tips are not mandatory but based off customer service that we receive, however, a tip was given.
However, Eric not sure what his role is but he was great with customer service and food was great!

Good place having a great time until they change shifts and I think the lady was like the manager or something or the owner’s daughter but she started to trip at the end of the night her ego and was bossing people around I don’t do much care for her at all but the rest of the staff was great.
