Really fun place for coffee and pastries with sandwiches. Lots of funny plaques and bags for sale. A big bunch of gluten-free and vegan options. Friendly and helpful staff and lots of comfy places to sit.

I absolutely love this place. Me and my husband hit up this spot couple days ago and we’re still thinking about it. May be a Sunday morning spot for us. The atmosphere is phenomenal and customer service is great. Everything we ate was fresh and beautiful. Made my foodie of a husband excited. The place was clean and while it had upbeat music, it wasn’t overly loud. In fact it was quite cozy. Definitely will be back to try more and I know my husband will be tagging along as he raved about the basic black coffee he had all day.

Outdoor seating which I love. Not too many places have that. The place is clean. Staff is wonderful, helpful & hospitable. I would highly recommend & WILL be bringing all my friends here!
We had the breakfast plate (2 eggs w/ home fries (actual fries ) bacon (very thin sliced) with rye toast & an everything bagel (better than bagel man) w/egg whites & turkey sausage. Both were very good. The only thing I could say is the everything seasoning was a little light, could have used more but overall Molto gustoso!!!

It’s an ok spot for a drink with a friend. Location is decent and parking is adequate. Several areas inside to sit depending on your group size, Outside seating as well. Only one individual bathroom and it could be a wait since the employees use it as well.

Nice cafe that supports local businesses and artists. They have a variety of drinks and foods to choose from. I ordered the drink of the month, the honeysuckle latte. It could have used more coffee taste or less sugar, but I still enjoyed it! I would come here again and recommend it to anyone. They have indoor and outdoor seating and non-coffee drink options.

I stumbled across Grounded on GrubHub a few months ago. I’d never heard of them but it was adventure day so I tried their Big Stuff breakfast burrito. It’s a simple yet hearty burrito stuffed with all the goodness of breakfast. I have since ordered this item at least two times a week and have never been disappointed. I’ve tried several other items like that Hoop Cheese biscuit and while they are good, I keep going back to the burrito. Grounded is super consistent and has not screwed up yet. I think this might be an addiction for which there are no 12 step programs!

I ordered a cortado, to get a baseline on their coffee. I enjoyed it, though their espresso leans fruity. Not sure if the cashier was having an off day/was sick, but felt she was a bit short and acted bothered when I asked questions. The atmosphere is where this coffee shop lacks. It feels cold and industrial, with coolers in the middle of the dining room that make it feel more like a gas station than a cozy coffee shop. Stacks of cardboard boxes in plain sight. Meh. Likely wouldn’t return based on atmosphere alone, though the coffee was solid.

I went out to take care of somethings and found out about Grounded after meeting the owner! So my Husband and I went over (I love coffee) and let me just say the experience, the vibe, the coffee and the food were amazing. It gives me a vibe from back home. We walked in and were greeted by every single person there. Including Poppy who is the nicest and sweetest! We call my grandfather Poppy and we talked about how it’s common where we are from. My Husband had the Golden Kiss of Death and WHEW!! It will definitely wake you up! I had The Sweet Carolina and it was sooo good. We had the Fireman sandwich for breakfast the croissant roll was light fluffy and sweet, eggs were perfect with banana peppers, pepperoni and pepper jack cheese. Poppy and I were explaining (or trying to explain!) what pork roll is to my Husband (he’s from here) and Poppy went and fried him a slice and now he’s hooked
Pretty sure I just found a new favorite!!

Walking into the Grounded, we were greeted by the staff. The establishment was clean and open. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the products offered. We received our drinks (Iced Peanut butter Cup Latte and a Twix Mocha Latte) and they came out quickly with cute caramel and chocolate drizzle atop. We didn’t eat but there was a lot to offer on the menu. We also really liked that they had milk substitutes, as we both opted for Oat milk instead of cow’s milk. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and I would recommend Grounded to coffee lovers.

Outside of coffee and small food snacks, they also had a Kid’s Café that offered child friendly board games available to play while you sip and enjoy your fellowship.
10/10 would recommend.

This place is AWESOME. Just moved to NC from MA and we were looking for a nice coffee shop. This place is full of friendly people and delicious iced coffee. This pic is a Highlander Scoth (butterscotch flavored) with regular cream and sugar. It was delicious.

They also have a loyalty card to earn free coffee. Cant wait to go back.
