East End Bagel Cafe was our last stop in our search for the best bagel on North Fork LI. I would call this the working man’s bagel place since there are a lot of service outsole doing in for their breakfast. They also look to have a full deli which would be great for lunch. Bagels were solid although not the quintessential NYC bagel as a bit bready.bread. service was a little slow too but it looked like their was one person taking the orders and helping the grill person. So not a lot of help in the kitchen. Solid though and a good place to get bagels and bagel sandwiches.

The best bagels on the North fork.
Parking is easy, it’s easy to see from the street, and it’s a good location.
I usually get cinnamon raisin toasted with strawberry cream cheese from here.
The people are very kind!
Good coffee as well.
Have a great day!

awesome spot with really great counter service, they’re on top of making sure your order is made how you would like and the whole staff is knowledgeable with the menu and checking orders out, or it seems.

both sandwiches were on bagels and they were basically as perfect as you could expect a new york bagel to be. super soft and fluffy on the inside with a nice seasoned crust on the outside (both were everything bagels). basically a perfect pit stop if you’re en route to or from the ferry.

also i love how long islands standard for BEC’s is a runny fried egg.

I ordered bagels and muffins to be catered for an event. The communication with the staff and owner was pleasant and courteous. The food was fresh and delicious. The presentation was exactly what I wanted. Thank you!!!

This place is just not good. Awkward staff, unfriendly, unpleasant, bagels aren’t great, eggs are overcooked with too much cooking spray which makes them taste gross, and the woman who cooked my eggs handled cash then touched my eggs and didn’t change her gloves. I asked for coffee and she made me wait until my order was done rather than just pouring the damn coffee. Also takes forever to have your order taken. Given this place too many chances and won’t be back. The place across the street is better in every way, friendly staff, and way better quality food and experience.

East End Bagels, the charming little bagel store nestled in Southold’s North Road, is a true gem that has become an integral part of our family’s summer tradition. This delightful family-owned and operated deli has mastered the art of crafting their own delectable bagels and cream cheese, making it a haven for bagel enthusiasts and breakfast lovers alike.

As soon as we arrive in Southold for the summer months, visiting East End Bagels becomes a ritual we eagerly anticipate. The aroma of freshly baked bagels wafting through the air is enough to awaken the senses and whet the appetite. The warm and inviting atmosphere adds to the overall experience, making each visit feel like a homecoming.

The bagel selection at East End Bagels is nothing short of impressive. While my son swears by their perfectly toasted and slightly crispy egg bagels, the rest of our family can’t resist the temptation of their delectable cinnamon raisin bagels. Our friends who join us for a weekend getaway have become ardent fans of the everything bagels, boasting about their irresistible blend of flavors.

But the real star of the show is the freshly made cream cheese that complements the bagels exquisitely. I have a soft spot for the walnut raisin cream cheese, which is an absolute treat, boasting a delightful balance of sweet and nutty flavors. Each bite feels like a gourmet experience, and it’s hard to resist indulging in seconds.

Beyond the exceptional food, the staff at East End Bagels plays a crucial role in making this establishment truly outstanding. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with warm smiles and a genuine eagerness to serve. The staff is not only cordial and professional but also exudes a sense of camaraderie that makes you feel like you’re among friends. Their passion for their craft is evident in the care they put into each order, making it an all-around enjoyable experience.

The word about East End Bagels’ excellence has spread like wildfire among our friends who visit us during the summer. Many of them have now become loyal patrons, and they, too, embark on a pilgrimage to this quaint deli every time they return to Southold. It has become a tradition for our extended circle to gather around the breakfast table, indulging in the heavenly bagels and cream cheese, and relishing in the memories we create together.

If you find yourself in the North Fork area, East End Bagels is an absolute must-stop destination. Whether you’re a local resident or a visitor passing through, the quality of their bagels and the warmth of their hospitality will leave an indelible mark on your heart. East End Bagels has become more than just a breakfast joint; it’s a place that captures the essence of community and family, making it an experience we cherish year after year.

We actually stopped going here because 95% of the times weve gone our orders were wrong. We switched to the black sheep bagel place in cutchogue but went here this morning
cause we had 2 hungry kids and it was closer. My sons Bagel had crunchy bits and low and behold the egg shell…that’s no tiny piece of eggshell either it’s a shame because the bagels are good but with the amount of times our order has been wrong and now the eggshell, I’ll drive the extra 5-10 mins to cutchogue.

I come in and eat lunch at east end bagel twice a week…. I paid with a 100% bill and the change they gave me included a fake 20. I didnt realize until I went to pay at another store and almost was arrested.

Best bagels around.. and way cheaper than most places which you pay well over 10 bucks for a BEC… not here and free coffee! Nowhere on the north fork does that… I ordered a BEC and Western omelette and it was amazing… cheese was perfectly melted.. staff is great and go above and beyond.. especially that tattooed man. 10/10

A must go!!!!
