The haddock was cooked to perfection, paired with the most amazing homemade sides. The mac salad? Out of this world. The fries? Super crispy. And the tartar sauce? The perfect finishing touch.
Five stars all the way! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Honestly, it was fantastic—little Jake couldn’t keep his eyes off those sides . If you’re craving an awesome fish fry tonight, you’ve got to check out the Legion—highly recommended!

price went up and this the first time its not enjoyable. ff were greasy and fish did not have the normal taste. This is the only place we would get them . Time to try other places.

Hands down this is the best fish fry we have ever eaten in western New York. The filet was huge, covering our platters from end to end, and it was very, very thick. The fish was perfectly cooked, extremely moist, flaky, tender and flavorful. If our server hadn’t of sworn repeatedly that it was haddock, I would have insisted that it was Atlantic cod. It was that perfectly prepared. The batter was also quite tasty without over indulging on the seasonings. The cole slaw, macaroni salad and potato salad were all perfectly crafted and very much complimented each other and the fish. Our server ladies were absolutely fantastic with their very personable attitudes and attentiveness. Even though we were here at the height of dinner service, the server ladies truly hustled and took care of all the diner’s needs. Everyone in the dining room appeared to be happy and having a good time. This American Legion building is just so above & beyond the previous building of yore, and the inside customer areas have been maintained in a spotless yet comfortable manner. And God bless the American Legion folks for making this facility and their parking area accessible to physically handicapped people. There are so many businesses in the WNY area that violate the civil rights of handicapped people by not providing an ADA accessible path of travel from the parking stalls to/through the front entry of a business. We are definitely looking forward to our next visit here for another wonderful dinner service. Thank you American Legion!

100% disappointment! Ordered the crab stuffed fish. I don’t know where the crab was but there was some powdery kind of flaky stuff on top posing as crab. The butter wasn’t butter it was like popcorn grease. Will not be going back. Here was my favorite place to eat for the last five years not anymore.

Friday fish frys are a big draw here. Veterans organizations with a very nice building and outside seating when the weather is acceptable. Bar area is well stocked and well taken care of by the barmaid. Take out is available by phone ordering ahead. Larger hall style room accommodates larger ten person round tables if needed for larger gatherings. Other food choices are available Fridays and limited kitchen choices during the week. Friendly gathering spot. Stacey is MY favorite waitress and Peggy keeps things going with professionalism. Pete is the commander.

I love going to this post, they have awesome bands playing all the time. Our favorite is Linda Dee ( a one woman show that puts shivers down your spine), and Crash Cadillac ( a five piece band that brings back all the 50’s and 60’s so we’ll!). Very nice place with great finger food while watching the bands.

Two out of 4 ppl at our table ordered fish . They were cold along with the fries . I don’t understand because we waited a good 45 mins to receive the food and it was pretty busy so I don’t know how it got cold. Our server stood texting on her phone right where we could see her and never offered refills . We had to ask her and she never brought my husband’s. We watched the ice melt in it on the bar as she texted away . I gave it a 2 because my shrimp was hot .
