So very, very good. I love watching the cooks make the food, and should mention that everyone there was very friendly! I will be thinking about these cheesesteak sandwiches for a very long time when I go back to my home state.

The chicken philly sandwich was dry and bland. I believe they gave me cheese curds instead of jalapeño poppers, and those were greasy, dense, and hard to chew. I didn’t understand why the cashier was helping the line as I was the only person there. She went from the counter straight to handling food. Questionable. They were also storing fries in this big black basin that, in my own personal experience working as a cook, has only ever been used for dishes. Never seen them used for food.
The food was too expensive for the quality. $22 for a 6” sub and 1 side.
There is also no seating inside the restaurant.

This is the best Philly steak sandwiches around hands down. I grew up on Tinns way back when they had a location up off 55th street. It’s still the same great quality food and the service is always excellent too. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.

Tinn’s was somewhere I’d go all the time in college at UMR. I was sad to see they had closed for a bit, but I’m glad to have them back. I got the chipotle philly like I always used to; and it was just as though nothing had ever changed. Tasty food, generous portions, and a good value. They always load you up with fries! I would say that the only downside is a lack of available seating – but it’s a tough spot to have a lot of tables at. Lovely spot and I can’t wait to come back more often after we move back to Minnesota.

Tried Tinns out for the first time this week and I was not disappointed! I ordered the Bahn Mi (traditional) and was seriously impressed, flavor was spot on and ingredients were fresh! They also have surprisingly delicious chicken tenders and fries. Definitely one of my good to spots in Rochester.
Parking was a bit tedious but 100% worth it . Alot of construction going on in front of their building right now so go show your support!

We stayed for a week on the same block as my brother in law had major surgery at Saint Marys… so places to eat are very limited to where you can go and not be far from the hospital out of the places we went to on that 2 block area this was by far the best…. the food was good the bread they used loved it.. the tatse was on point the guy cooking was very nice the girl that took the money was ok… but if you have to stay up at Saint Mary’s for a few days. Just eat here as the other places are not good at all.. this I ate the whole thing.. only suggestion is have a salad or something lower in carb as I’m diabetic. That night it was late. After being at the hospital 12 hours I just wanted food before going back.. but a salad or something on menu would be great as a a side at least.. and maybe sugar free pepsi or coke otherwise very good

I just had the most insane banh mi. It was so delicious. Best part was I have to be dairy free, and they were so accommodating and understanding, going over all the ingredient lists to make sure that I didn’t come into contact with an allergen. Amazing amount of food for the price too.

Tinns Philly is so AWESOME! First time here and they made me feel so welcome. I have a food allergy even, and they made sure to take special care that none of my food would come into contact with the rest of my personal food. They are communicative within the cooks themselves, they are all so friendly within their staff to customer. Tinns Grilled Philly Steak Subs really delivers on flavor. The cheesesteak was cooked perfectly! Juicy, flavorful, and packed with just the right number of toppings. What really stood out was the bread! Soft on the inside with a perfect bite that brought everything together. You can tell they take pride in what they serve, and it shows in every bite.
