This was the first time we had Haitian food – and it was fantastic. We had the Pwason Dirikole (red snapper broiled instead of fried) and Kabrit Dirikole) goat, which came with a hefty portion of rice, plantains and a carrot/cabbage slaw. Super yummy. Very similar to other Caribbean food, but with a distinct flavor. The traditional spice rub on the goat was fantastic. The slaw was surprisingly super spicy, which was great to mix into the rice, but overwhelming on its own.
I was initially hesitant about coming after reading the reviews, but most of the low ratings were for the service, not the food. I thought the service was good, just culturally different. My observation was that Haitians don’t smile a lot. A man kindly described some of the dishes and we chose based on his descriptions, although we could have picked off the menu.
While we dined in, it seemed like most people ordered food to go, as there were only 5 tables. My only complaint was of their use of styrofoam containers (bad for the environment and for the body).
If I lived in Indianapolis, I would be a regular here, and try everything on the menu!

The food is amazing and service is exceptional. They went out of their way and customized a dish for us based on what we eat and don’t. Definitely coming back for the food and vibe. Very kind servers and a homely environment. Highly recommend! We had 3 different kind of fries, and rice and beans with a gravy that was delicious!

Visiting Indiana from Miami and was glad to see the growing population of Haitian, here.
I ordered stew goat and griot and it was average compared to the flavorful dishes back home.
Customer service needs improvement. The young lady taking orders wasn’t as welcoming as expected.
The restaurant was clean, and our dine in experience was okay.

The food was delicious. I had a griot, fried chicken and a bowl of bouyon, my husband loved it. The food took us back to Haiti. The rice with djondjon was fire. The taste of the rice was authentic.

I just ordered DoorDash and let me tell you this is by far the best Haitian food I tasted since I moved to Indianapolis and the amount of food they give is worth every penny. I will order from here again

Great place the lady at the register had a bit of an attitude, the food was amazing as far as taste but the portion of the meat was way to small, they gave me 2 pieces of meat and way too much rice, for $26 I got $15 worth of food

I ordered off uber and they forgot my rice and beans. I was so upset. Tried calling and their number is not working. I contacted uber and they gave me a credit which was very little give more than half my meal was gone and it took an hour to get when the restaurant is 10 minutes away. The first delivery driver had to cancel because he said the food had a 30 minute wait time.
