From the moment we walked in, the owner was running the counter and made us feel incredibly welcome. You can tell right away this place cares about its customers.
We ordered wings, a cheesesteak, and a burger, and every single thing was fantastic. The wings were flavorful and cooked perfectly, the cheesesteak was loaded and delicious, and the burger was spot-on.
The best part? The owner gave us a slice of pizza to try on the house. It was absolutely amazing. Honestly, I’m kicking myself for not ordering pizza from the start!
Great food, great atmosphere, and genuine hospitality. If you’re anywhere near Harrisburg, this place is a must-stop. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town.
Let’s start with the wings:
-mild buffalo had the perfect hint of spice
-chicken was cooked perfectly – I didn’t have to ask for twice baked/extra crispy
-the buffalo flavor was excellent, not boring
-medium size wings (not to big, not too small)
Garlic knots:
-light, fluffy and garlicky! Perfect!
The pizza:
– that sauce was so good
– that cheese was so good
-the crust on the bottom was crispy enough that your pizza doesn’t flop but soft enough that you can still fold it
– the top crust was light and fluffy and not super thick
– pepperoni was yum
I am super picky about pizza shop pizza because most don’t have much flavor. This is in my top 5 favorites for sure. Plus, add in the excellent service and you’ve got 5 stars.
The establishment is tiny (New York vibes) but there’s a lot of to-go orders and she even has a small back porch with seating. Just don’t bring a big party there and expect to sit. Oh and it is BYOB too.
Sauce – They have over a dozen sauces to choose from, with the basics (med, hot, x-hot) to unique flavors like Hot Honey Cajun. They are relatively liberal with the sauce (which I prefer) and Hot Honey Cajun, Garlic Parm Hot, and X-Hot all were extremely flavorful (Hot Honey Cajun taking #1 in my book)
Cook/Quality – The wings were perfectly cooked, crispy, and the quality of the chicken was great.
Price – The cost was pretty good @ $60 for 50 wings, and even better they do $1 Wednesday wing nights.
The wings are served with a blue cheese and celery.
Note – They even let you split sauces free of charge!
Tonight I got the chopped cheese quesadilla and the buffalo chicken quesadilla. I love the shredded lettuce, garnish, in the side of sour cream that it comes with. I got her to go order. I’m not sure if you can eat inside.. There are some small tables so I assume you can. The chopped cheese quesadilla was basically like a cheeseburger with Boss sauce, which is absolutely phenomenal. If you haven’t had it get it as a side! Will definitely be back can’t wait to try everything else on the menu, 10 out of 10
