From the looks, you can immediately tell it’s an old Waffle House from the outside. Once you walk in, definitely an old Waffle House. However, the vibe is totally unique. Nova is a fitting name. The menu is “nerdy” and the taste is explosive.
We tried their Avocado Coffee. Yes. Avocado Coffee. Very inventive, especially for Pineville.
There are so many amazing menu items that’s creatively named (Sorry I was so caught up and being super early. I forgot to take pics except for the one site pic after the rush has cleared before another rush of people about to walk in as we were walking out). There were four of us and every plate was uniquely named and scrumptious.
We aren’t from here, so we are definitely surprised to experience this “big city” experience in a small town.
Staff and service were amazing. The owner even came by to talk to us.

If you live within 30 mins of driving…Or even an hour…. Definitely worth a drive to come here to support great local small business owners and expect to be blown away with the creativity and deliciousness!!!!

We stopped here lunch and really enjoyed it. The menu had a good selection, with suitable options for the kids. The staff’s friendliness really stood out. They were very polite and always smiling. The food was great. I recommend stopping in here if you are in the Pineville area.

I have desperately wanted to love this place!!! We’ve tried it 3 or 4 times- the latest being 2 days ago after a year of absolute hell I decided to treat us to a breakfast to go. The bacon was halfway raw- not crispy at all! I tried to crisp it back up myself. My fried eggs were burnt. That’s a HUGE pet peeve of mine. I had to peel off the burnt layer and just shove them down. The grits were wayyyy too cheesy- almost like the lip puckering salty of too much pecorino. I’m just being blatantly honest. It breaks my heart to give this honest review because I truly wanted to love this place. We spend our money on extras like this very rarely, and strike three times. I highly recommend the Bentley Room. They’re 10/10.

First visit. Family in from out of town. We have found our go to place for breakfast. Love how we were greeted. They were able to seat all 6 of us at one table. Service was fast, wide variety on menu. Food was excellent.

So I’ve been to this place a total of three times the first time I did a online order like I’ve done everytime and they were backed up they were extremely remorseful and refunded half of my money for the wait the younger tall white gentleman was extremely compassionate and respectful. The second time was fantastic service was extremely fast and great! Third time which was today 1/20/26 I ordered nothing but a pancake and French toast for my one year old online when I got there the system showed no order I showed proof of order the older gentleman I assuming manger was super super understanding and NICE he immediately jumped on my order and told me to wait out in the car they would bring it to me! When they returned literally maybe 3-4 minutes later I had triple what I ordered. Everything was cooked to perfection and the service was excellent! I’ve had 0 bad experiences here even with the misunderstandings they have quickly made up for it!

Alright for the price. It’s where the old Huddle House used to be. New establishment for the area, which is a good thing. I can see where they are going with their idea of the restaurant. In another year or so, this will definitely be one of the better breakfast joints in the area.
I got the loaded biscuits and the pineapple drink the other day. It was ok. Next time, I’ll eat inside instead of the “To Go” route. I will do another review x rate in a few more months. Once again, the potential is there

This is a MUST dine-in restaurant. From the moment you enter, you feel welcome. They remodeled the old Huddle House, which is nice that they re-purposed an already built establishment. Christian music is playing in the background, which I appreciate.
Iris, our server, was an absolute delight.
The food was a 9/10 on taste, portion size, and plate presentation. I can’t wait to visit again very soon!

We absolutely love Nova’s! It’s our favorite place to grab breakfast. They have regular bacon and eggs type dishes and they have so many specialty items. My favorite is the shrimp and grits! The owners are so kind and are often in greeting, cooking, and serving customers. I’ve never had anything on the menu I didn’t enjoy. My daughter loves the pancakes! All around a 10 out of 10!
