The east franchise is the best Japanese food in Jamaica, and I would dear say some of the best in the world. East is a restaurant I will always spend my money at because they consistently serve some of the best quality sushi and are rarely out of any of the menu items.

I went on a Tuesday night so that I could truly experience the ambiance and service minus the crowd. This was the best idea. Service was prompt, my waitress was engaging and expertly answered my questions about menu items. Apps were quickly served and my beer was presented with a frosted mug. 10/10

On entering we didn’t know whether we were to wait at the entrance to be seated or walk in and find seats. No one greeted us and seated us. We had to walk around looking for seats. The food is amazing! And the ambiance was great. A nice little hangout spot. I love it. It’s not very expensive, once you don’t over do it on the sushi you’ll be fine.

I had the spider roll, very good. The rolls were huge and filled with fried crab. The Korean fried chicken was good as well.
Also had ramen which was 9/10, however the kimchi didn’t live up to my expectations, only downside of the meal.
