**A Sunday Lunch at Waldo’s Chicken and Beer in Little Rock **
A few Sundays ago, I decided to treat myself to a delightful lunch at Waldo’s Chicken and Beer in Little Rock, and I must say, it was a lovely experience overall!
Upon arriving, I was pleased to find that there was no wait, making it a breeze to start my culinary adventure right away. The atmosphere was inviting and casual, just what I needed for a relaxed Sunday afternoon.
We decided to indulge in the wing meal and the 2-piece meal, and both were absolutely scrumptious. The chicken was cooked to perfection, juicy with just the right amount of seasoning. Accompanying our main dishes were sides of mac and cheese, collard greens, and cucumber salad—each dish was incredibly tasty! The mac and cheese was creamy and comforting, the collard greens had a rich, savory flavor, and the cucumber salad added a refreshing crunch.
However, one little hiccup slightly marred our experience. There were some pesky gnats flying around our table, despite being seated inside, which was a bit distracting. It would be excellent if this could be addressed to make the dining experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, despite the little gnat issue, I had a wonderful time at Waldo’s Chicken and Beer. It’s a great spot for a casual lunch with delicious comfort food. I’m already looking forward to my next visit and trying out more items from their tempting menu!

A great spot to catch the game and enjoy some indoor ping pong. The atmosphere is lively, and the setup makes it easy to have fun while dining. We ordered the plain chicken wings, which could have used more seasoning but their buttermilk ranch sauce was dipping-finger-licking-good. The chicken tenders were well-prepared, and while the fries were decent, a crispier texture would have been ideal. The full bar offers a solid variety of drinks, making for a great combination of food, sports, and drinks. Overall, an enjoyable experience—we’ll definitely be back for more ping pong.

Today I had the Free Bird club sandwich with potato wedges and 1 biscuit on the side. The biscuit is tasty but a bit too small for the price. The wedges were ok but slightly undercooked. The sandwich had a good flavor but not enough chicken. It looked like 2 small tenders, bacon, veggies and bread. With tenders that size they could’ve squeezed another one in there. So for just under 19 bucks I left barely satisfied but definitely not full. Now I did get the large drink which comes in a souvenir style cup which is like $3.79 by itself.
I will say the service is excellent. They checked on me twice during the meal and took the empty basket after I finished. But given the price and my lack of fullness, I’m not sure I’ll be a frequent visitor.

Juicy and crunchy fried chicken! I’m a big fan of Waldo’s because of the food, service speed, and atmosphere. There’s a great outdoor seating area that’s perfect for families. They have things like pool, ping-pong and other fun things to do inside. There’s plenty of space. I’ve had several things including the rotisserie chicken salads and it is always fast, and delicious

This location is so fun. They have shuffleboard, pool tables, ping pong, Golden Tee, and a few other arcade games. Their food is fantastic and service is always top notch. We love meeting friends here. This has been our go to since discovery how insanely good they are.

Parking: Weird parking lot lol (the way it’s set up). But I can usually find a spot if it’s not busy. Keep in mind there are other businesses in that same lot.
Seating: They have a fake grassy area outside where you can take your food to sit and eat on a nice day. They also have a bar on the outside (it opens up like a garage door). Or you can sit inside. It’s seat yourself vibes (except by the bar). Seating immediately by the bar (there’s booths) or at the bar you can order from the bartender. Otherwise you buy your food and drinks at the register and sit wherever. They give you a number and bring it to you !
Food: Everything I’ve eaten so far has been yummy ! I tried one of their salads before (delicious). It comes with a muffin which was soo good. I also like their queso. It’s good for a chicken spot !
Drinks: Last I went .. I know for sure they have $5 margaritas on Tuesdays ! Their frozen margaritas are delicious! You can also order drinks to go. Not sure if it’s certain drinks only or what. But I know you can get the margaritas to go for sure.
Entertainment: They have tvs for sports. They also have a few arcade games and a pool table !
Bathrooms: Typically clean when I go !
Service: Most of the servers/employees are kind when I’ve visited .
All in all.. a cool place to get inexpensive food and drinks if you want a chill day or night out !

My partner and I loved eating at this Waldo’s but I am changing my review. We ordered something simple: two 4 piece chicken tender meals with fries, two sides of Alamba white sauce each. Along with coleslaw & mac n cheese as sides, and cheddar biscuits as an app with extra honey butter for takeout. I tipped 20% since I was not being waited and picked it up myself in a reasonable amount of time after placing my order. They completely left out the cheddar biscuits and extra honey butter I paid for. Yes, I should have checked the bag before leaving the restaurant to head home to my partner and five month old, but I thought restaurants who offered takeout and were not having to fully service your meal/experience and still were being tipped would at least get the order correct. I attempted to call the number of the restaurant listed on my receipt but no answer and no option for a return call or email.

Wow… what a cool place to hang out! My family and I were looking for somewhere to relax and catch the end of the Razorback game, and this was definitely the right spot. Such a fun atmosphere with tons of space, and we love the indoor/outdoor bar concept. The staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome. We’ll definitely be back!

What a pleasant unexpected surprise this place is!!! We stopped by here to grab something fast, so we didn’t expect that much, BUT we loved it and will definitely be back!! First of all, they use tallow for frying and NOT vegetable oil!!! They use non gmo foods, organic on what they can, plus they source local on some items. We had the rotisserie chicken and ate it before i could get a picture Kind and welcoming staff makes the first visit less intimidating. All were eager to share details of the menu. Sidenote the banana pudding is on point!

We had a great experience at Waldo’s Chicken! The build and atmosphere of the place are fantastic, making it a perfect spot for a casual meal. We ordered the “Feed the Flock” deal, which fed four people easily and was only $35 – excellent value for money.
You can really tell that a lot of effort goes into their food and preparation. The sauces are homemade, with a wide variety to choose from, which added a great touch to our meal. And their biscuits? Simply amazing! They’re made from scratch and were a highlight of our visit. Highly recommend Waldo’s Chicken for a delightful dining experience!
