I visited The Spot for the first time today. I was craving a roast beef sandwich on rye bread and was still feeling quite surprised that a place I had stopped into a few weeks ago because I THOUGHT they would sell roast beef sandwiches, didn’t I needed not worry, when I asked at the counter, “Do you sell roast beef sandwiches? I’d like one with lettuce, tomato, and light mayo on rye…” because I was warmly greeted with a smile and a “Yes, what else would you like on it?” While waiting for my sandwich, I wandered around the deli. It’s very clearly heart-and-soul into Elizabethtown history (lots of historical pictures of buildings and places) and equally clearly supportive of compassionately serving the E-town community (there’s a pay-it-forward board where customers can pre-purchase a meal for someone less fortunate). And my sandwich? Bread was fresh, lots of perfectly sliced roast beef, and everything I ordered was in it … tasted great from the first to the last bite! I will go again!!!

This place is awesome. They serve authentic bagels from New York. Definitely, the best in town. We even brought our friends from Brooklyn who confirmed they are as authentic and fresh as you can get. Love the mini version of the bagels as well.
They have fresh homemade soups daily as well as daily specials. Everything is exquisite. Every team member is delightful. We come here regularly. Great place to rest, meet friends, work, or enjoy a meal with a loved one. They also cater. Truly a great experience every time. Everything is affordable and fresh. Thank you Ed and thank you to your team members. Always a pleasure. And yes, they have AC. Awesome for the heat we have been experiencing.

Food is amazing. Sandwiches are extremely well made and packed with meat. Bagels are fantastic and the service is very friendly and nice to you. Always get my food fast, and with a smile. Small town spot that you need to check out

Stopped here for dinner to check it out. Didn’t know if you were supposed to seat ourselves and wait or go up to the register. So we sat down and waited about 20 minutes until we were told. We have to order up there by a customer. They said it’s worth it. We ordered our food. They came out with paper plates for our food. We didn’t know where we were supposed to get our fork spoons and knives until we realize there’s a box behind someone’s head. My husband got coffee to realize that you have to get up and get sugar.
I wanted butter on my bread before we eat our club sandwich and we had to ask for it and it was a wait. The guy said be with you shortly.
so I ate the food by the time we were done the butter came. They weren’t very friendly staff. We did our best to be friendly, but we weren’t treated well. A customer said we have to pick up after ourselves and put the stuff back in the trash, clean the table and leave a tip and we looked at them like are redoing their job at this point shouldn’t they pay us to do this? Unfortunately, we will not return. Also, it’s paid parking but $.15 is worth it until you get the ticket and it’s like kind of useless. And we did receive a ticket, even if we paid for our parking spot. Yet Elizabethtown is greedy for parking.

WOW My daughter was here a few times and told us how good it was, so we gave it a try. This place is exactly what Etown needed! Our sandwiches were fresh, delicious and huge! I’m stuffed and already excited to eat the leftovers. Even the iced tea was fresh and delicious. Looking forward to going back! They have a really cool breakfast deal where you can get your lunch cheap and to go when you get breakfast there. What an awesome idea!!! Go there, you will not be disappointed. The service was incredible also!

Friends & I stopped for a Saturday lunch and were VERY pleased! Food was GREAT with large servings, great taste & fresh ingredients. Service was wonderful & friendly. Seating is a little limited for large groups but they made it work. Will be back!

Better than panera and subway! Prices was great. All this was $14. The food I is fresh and tastes amazing. I’m visiting from Barrie, Ontario, Canada and hope to stop in one more time before I head home. Amazing lunch, not too heavy/ greasy. Service was also great!
