Stopped by El Zarape for a quick brunch and tried the chilaquiles de birria. The birria itself was good, and I really liked that the chilaquiles chips were made in-house they had great texture and held up well.
Service was pretty straightforward: you order at the front, and they bring the food out. The place was empty when I went, but the waitress still checked on me a couple of times, which I appreciated. Overall, solid.

If I could rate this place more than 5 stars, I instantly would. Everything was very flavorful without being overly salty, food came out fast and was very fresh , the service was excellent, & prices were very reasonable! We tried their quesabirria, birria tacos, chips & salsa, and horchata—absolutely no disappointments. My lady & I look forward to coming regularly to try even more of their menu items!

Don’t let the exterior and strip mall location fool you. The service is fast and friendly. The atmosphere is bright and festive and the food is incredible. This is the place to get your birria fix.

Absolutely amazing! We pulled up first thing to see a local neighborhood small parade, got inside to the friendliest service, was given mariachi choices live, and enjoyed the perfect Birria tacos! This is a must see, must try, must keep the path from your house to their door forever type of restaurant!! Anyone who hasn’t tried yet is missing out on greatness!
