We spent 10 days in Tuckahoe because we wanted to explore NYC. The fiestbday we found this restaurant and was amazing! Excellent option for tourists, with healthy and delicious greek food! We ordered twiced. Good place!

It is our second time trying this and the beef/lamb gyro seems better than the chicken gyro (which we got last time), in my opinion. The bowls were great because you get to build your base, protein, vegetables, and dressings. Additionally, the burger patty was thick and cooked just right. It is a bit pricey but the food was tasty.

Stopped in to grab some lunch with my dad as it was his birthday. Erika was very friendly and took our order. I ordered the Greek salad and falafel platter with t fries! Everything was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend visiting.

**Raw Chicken in My Gyro
I recently tried a gyro from Meat the Greek and unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. The chicken was completely raw in the center, which not only ruined the meal but also raised serious concerns about food safety. It’s unacceptable to serve raw chicken, as it poses serious health risks. Not sure how you can look at raw CHICKEN and still place it in a gyro. Ended up in Urgent Care pending results for any bacterial infection.
I hope they take food safety more seriously in the future, as this is a major issue.

Stopped by Meat the Greek and it did not disappoint. The gyros are legit — packed with flavor, juicy, and wrapped up just right. And the burgers? Honestly just as good, which says a lot because usually a place nails one or the other. Here, they crush both.

Great food and excellent variety. We got our usual the sandwich and the protein bowl both of them are excellent choices. The seating is little tight and max can accommodate 5 adults.
