Cozy little bar in a small quiet little town just off I-5. New owners have really been fixing this little place up. Definitely a place worth checking out.

Just rolled into Turner, tired and hungry from a very long drive. Saw the Turner Tavern and decided to eat there and I’m glad I did. I’ve eaten at taverns before and they’ve been okay. Lunchtime was over so it wasn’t busy. The young lady behind the bar welcomed us and told us to sit where we wanted. She came over within a couple of minutes to take our drink order and when she brought us our drinks she took our orders. We got some pretzels and some deep fried mozzarella. I ordered a tavern burger and a porter, not expecting too much. The burger was really good. Not over or under cooked and it was just the right size to make me full but not overly so. The pretzels were crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside and very tasty. There was a separate door for wheelchair access ♿. Next time I’m in Turner I’m definitely going to stop here again.

St Patrick’s Day was a great time. Live music, corned beef and cabbage. It’s always a fun crowd here. We like the staff, always friendly and helpful.

Place looks good, clean, server was nice. Fries were great, tvs were in good spots. You gotta work on your burger patty, though. Doesn’t hit hard hard, I don’t know if you need to find a diff brand or if you need to hit it with a little Johnny’s or lowrys while it cooks, but it was a little frozen tasting, still good. Just posting for constructive criticizm, will Def be back!

So we are new to the area we come here every so often and this regular that claims to be the owners “brother “ is so disrespectful and kind of seems targeted because we are Hispanic and this is the second time he starts talking crap to us for no reason we walk in and he starts with us we spend money here like everyone else and now we feel uncomfortable coming here he gets away with treating people
Like crap we will drive 10min into Salem
To go else where where we are comfortable and respected

Staff are dope, I didn’t try the food. Some jerk kept playing Old Town Road and WAP on the jukebox, in that order.

Between the owners and the bartenders at Turner Tavern, this is the only place I will go to enjoy a good time. The community is so welcoming and we are lucky to have a place like this. If you are in South Salem, the extra 5 minutes is totally worth the drive to Turner! Look forward to meeting you!
