Parked right outside the restaurant with no trouble. Didn’t have to wait for a table. Excellent various choices on the menu. Staff was very friendly while being professional. Great Italian restaurant.

The place itself is cozy and adorable with a mix of high class but also casual. There’s plenty of seating and a full bar as well. Parking is also good with angled parking in front on the street and additional parking in the lot in the rear of the location. Service was okay, not too bad but definitely could be better. We ordered appetizers of fried calamari and bruscetta. The bruscetta was good. The calamari came with cocktail sauce, which was odd and was very pale for being fried. My husband is the only one who eats it and thankfully because the portion was so small. He says it was okay. For dinner I got baked ziti and the sauce itself was very flavorless, but the ziti and mozzarella were cooked to perfection. My husband got stuffed shrimp with crabmeat stuffing- it was like 6 little shrimps! He said the crabmeat was good but the portion was not efficient. The portions in general were very small- especially for Italian food. I ordered a frozen peach bellini and it was delicious. I will say we were super hopeful for this place because it came recommended from many Oklahomans. It sadly missed the mark for us. Maybe being Italian and from NYC we are spoiled but either way- probably not coming back for dinner. Will try again for appetizers and drinks though.

It was a great atmosphere and the place is cool. The food was above average and so was the service.

Nothing wowed me but the Cesar salad. It was amazing.

The calamari was good, but not authentic in my opinion.

The Veal Parmigiana was just ok. I expected the breading to be more authentic and the sauce seemed to be watery. It was really good I just expected so much more. I did ask for sauce on the side based on other reviews and pictures showing way more sauce on the plate than I wanted.

The service was good but nothing that was over the top. The pricing was reasonable and great for larger parties.

It’s a good place and everything was clean.

Friendly staff, we were immediately greeted and seated as soon as we walked in and the gentleman seating us allowed us to pick where we sat which was nice since we had a wheelchair. Each table had a neat bottle/candle set up with multiple colored wax drippings running down the sides of the bottle that they lite when your waitress comes over. Our waitress thankfully immediately put the candle out since my wife is on oxygen tanks.
Food was great, their Greg’s Lasagna is the closest lasagna in Oklahoma to the lasagna that you will find in New Jersey. My wife hasn’t been able to find New Jersey styled lasagna anywhere in Oklahoma yet, so we will definitely be coming back for the lasagna.
I had the Tortellini Diablo but with Alfredo sauce instead of spicy marinara sauce. It was one of two specials of the day. It was good but the sliced vegetables were huge and not easy to eat as it came. Seemed like a lot of prepping at the table before it could actually be consumed. Not sure if all their dishes come with abnormally large chunks of vegetables, so it’s best to come with the mind set that you will have to finish prepping your food before consuming.
Most Italian restaurants bring bread to your table shortly after being seated so you can enjoy eating the bread while waiting for your entree but not here, they don’t bring the bread to your table until they are bringing your entree also. We even asked for the bread but were told it would come with our meal. So we ordered a Garlic Bread with Cheese appetizer that took a little bit to arrive at the table but at least didn’t arrive with the entrees. So we didn’t even try the complimentary bread at the restaurant and had it for left overs back home.
They do offer specials occasionally, it was half priced pizza night when we visited but our waitress never told us and we only found out by over hearing another table being told. Also the daily special isn’t really a special in regards to price but that it isn’t always on the menu. I wouldn’t have ordered the special if I was aware of the price before hand. Also there are no prices on their desert menu but we liked their abundance of choices of desserts. The Turtle New York Cheesecake was delicious but is not a traditional turtle cheesecake but is a regular slice of cheesecake that comes with caramel sauce and a Hershey’s chocolate syrup.

Okay, I love local restaurants. But I have been to this location several times over the years and I hate to say this but it’s really fallen off. Food is average at best now, appetizers list is dated and not good and a add on side salad with entree is $5.75 wich is really over priced I feel. Service is really getting bad, host is nice but lost all the time. I understand the struggle but this is my third time in a row with this experience. I hope they can get it fixed, I truly do!! But until then it’s not worth the trip…

If you’re looking for an unforgettable Italian dining experience in Norman or Edmond, Othello’s is an absolute must-visit! This family-owned gem has not only perfected the art of Italian cuisine but has created an atmosphere that feels like home.

The menu is packed with incredible options, but a few standouts have to be The Pat’s Special, a mouthwatering blend of rich flavors that will keep you coming back, and the pizza—some of the best you’ll ever have. And let’s not forget the Angels Balsamic, a dish so divine it lives up to its heavenly name. Every bite at Othello’s is crafted with care and tradition.

The heart and soul of this restaurant are its incredible owners—Nancy, Jennifer, Bob, and Tammy. Their passion for great food and warm hospitality shines through in every aspect of Othello’s. They’ve created a space where friends and family gather, celebrate, and savor. A special mention goes to Pat Peters, their right-hand man, who works tirelessly to ensure the experience is top-notch every single time.

Whether you’re in Norman or Edmond, Othello’s is a true treasure. From the food to the service to the friendly faces, it’s everything you could ask for in a local Italian restaurant. Don’t walk—run to Othello’s!

It wasn’t bad. The service was a bit slow. We ordered pizzas, eggplant parmigiana with spaghetti, pesto pasta, and cheese ravioli. To be honest, the eggplant was too greasy, and the pesto pasta lacked seasoning. As for the atmosphere, the restaurant didn’t seem very clean and was quite noisy. The waitress also tried to add a salad to our bill that wasn’t included with our meals.

Firstly I want to say the food and environment were amazing, definitely will be back. My only qualm was with reservations.

I made a reservation for New Year’s Eve, which also happens to be my partners birthday. Called two days prior and scheduled a reservation for 7:30, also specifically for a booth and upstairs booth since it would have been quieter. Upon arrival they attempted to sit us at a table. I asked to be moved to a booth upstairs but they said they weren’t seating people upstairs. To avoid confrontation we took the downstairs booth.

Overall a fantastic place and would highly recommend!

First time eating at Othello’s and also the last!!! Took my husband here for his birthday along with my daughter and everything about it was disappointing. Black hair found under soggy lettuce, a pasta dish that resembled soup with 5 noodles in it…. and a cookie dessert that was completely raw!!! I honestly don’t know how this restaurant stays in business!! $115 for 3 people and we all left hungry and completely disgusted! To the owner, DO BETTER!!!

AMAZING!!! Great food, great service, an unbeatable combination!

Had happy hour app of fried cheese, Spaghetti and meatballs, pasta with 1/2 Alfredo and 1/2 mushroom sauce, salad and bread. Everything was wonderful. The pace of service was perfect. The appetizer came out first, then the salads, then the entrée with time to enjoy each. Some restaurants stack them all on top of you at the same time where you can’t enjoy them. Not here, timing was just right! Highly recommended.
