Tried Fatima’s Grill for the first time and boy was I impressed with the quality of food. First off you walk into a clean establishment with amazing art on the walls showing the culture of Long Beach and LA region. The cashier was friendly and helpful in explaining the menu. My kids ordered the hot Cheetos and cheese smash burger and boy did they love it! I ordered the shrimp, rice and beans bowl and again full of flavor. If I lived closer it would be a place I would go to often! A must try!

I recently visited Fatima’s Grill in Long Beach, CA, and to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. I ordered the “Chicken Zinger Burger” and the experience was nothing short of a disaster. First off, calling this monstrosity a “chicken burger” is outright laughable. A burger is supposed to have a patty, but instead, I got two frozen chicken tenders slapped on a sad, low-quality bun. If that wasn’t bad enough, the bottom bun was so soggy it practically disintegrated as soon as I touched it, and the bread wasn’t even toasted.
The coleslaw? Don’t get me started. It was warm and absolutely disgusting, to the point that it made me gag. Warm coleslaw is a crime. And to top it off, they thought it would be a great idea to put shredded lettuce under the coleslaw. Why on earth would you combine the two? It’s like they were trying to sabotage their own sandwich.
This was, without a doubt, the worst chicken sandwich I’ve ever had—and that’s being generous. It cost $16.99, which is laughable for what I was served. Honestly, it wasn’t even worth $5. Fatima’s Grill should be ashamed to call this food. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs.

I’ve tried this place a couple times and it could be better.
First off, the best part about this place is the meat, absolutely amazing! But that’s pretty much where that ends. Everything else is pretty mid, the fries aren’t seasoned, and they always forget something with the order. They tend to miss or forget items in your order, like a soda, or ingredients. After the third time, my household and I won’t be coming back. I shouldn’t remind a restaurant to add ingredients if the photo and menu says it comes with it . You’re paying the expense of the atmosphere which is pretty pricy for the quality. It’s a cool gimmick, but that’s what you’re paying for , a gimmick. Overall 4/10

Huge burger! It took two of us to finish this colossal burger. But then again we don’t eat as much as we used to. The burger had great flavor. It was an interesting combination. I should have skipped the tamarindo agua fresca (did not like the taste).

– Prices are overwhelming ($52 for a burrito; a beef shawarma plate; a small side of Mac N’ Cheese; 2 waters; & a basic tip).

The staff are very friendly and great at giving recommendations from the menu. Carne asada fries come absolutely loaded and will definitely fill you up. There’s not much indoor seating as it’s a small space so I recommend calling ahead for pick-up.

Hits the spot every time! We had company and ordered from here and when everyone took a bite all you hear is mmmm! We ordered a shrimp burrito, asada burrito, birria quesadillas, and chicken wrap. Everything was a 10/10!! Service was great and welcoming! Will be back again

I decided to try this place as I had heard good things. I must say I ordered the Asada fries and was quite disappointed. The fries were undercooked and tasted somewhat raw and the meat was overcooked and tough. The only saving grace was the person at the counter was quite pleasant.

Got the Hot Cheeto, Carne Asada Burrito. It was good, but definitely seemed more like “show food” than an actual meal. May need to try other things to get a better review. But I sadly couldn’t taste the asada unless I took the burrito apart. It looks great in pictures but not worth $17. Paired it with a glass bottle coke and my total was $25. For a single burrito and coke.
EDIT: went back and got the Birta Nachos and the Chicken Burrito, and I have to say the food was vastly better this time. The price was still a bit high but, at least the food was a lot better. I look forward to going back since this place is a short walk away.
