This is Tallahassee best kept secret, my family and I really enjoyed it. The price was amazing for a family of five. The food was served hot, fresh, and everything was tasting as if my mama had mad it herself.
My family and I went to Golden Corral a week ago and was very disappointed. Worst $91 ever spent.
Wish we had of known about Sam’s Country Buffet then. Because baby it was worth every dime spent my family and I will be returning. The atmosphere, the customer service and not to mention the food was truly amazing.
Oh and the icing on the cake not that it matters, but their establishment is very clean especially their restrooms. That is truly hard to find these days.
Thank you to the staff for an Amazing dinner night with my family.

I’ve been here twice, but I won’t be back for a third try. The food is just OK and the options are more limited than most “country” buffets. The place is clean but very old. Our waitress was very nice and helpful but all the waitress really does in a buffet place is bring your drinks.
Many buffet restaurants include a drink in the price, Sam’s does not. The first time through the buffet line there was no fried chicken, so I sat and ate my side dishes for about 10 minutes until the chicken was replenished. After the wait, the chicken (usually the star of the show in a buffet) was disappointing.

The only good thing about this place was the woman running the register. She was polite and friendly, but couldn’t see the food before paying. We tried it anyway, despite the male employee standing on a chair by the register completely barefoot, toes out, about 3 feet from the food/plates. The food looked like it had been sitting out for too long, and we only got a refill a few minutes before we left. My girlfriend got sick immediately afterwards. Would not recommend..

I think the food is okay, we went at night and the staff were very kind and punctual with dishes, cleaning, and bringing our drinks. Fried chicken was very good.
However, when my mother went to the bathroom it was actively being cleaned – there was a wet floor sign and a smell of chemicals. She told me it smelled like chlorine and was afraid of it ruining her clothes.
This morning, she showed me her shirt had become permanently splotched with stained chemicals, either bleach or chlorine or otherwise.
I used to be a janitor, and its not easy working around staff and customers to clean while the facility is still open, I sympathize with that. But I think it is our responsibility to tell people when “dangerous” chemicals are around everyday appliances like bathrooms and sinks. A sign could be posted reading “DO NOT ENTER WHEN WET – CHLORINE MAY STAIN CLOTHING” or something similar. Its not going to stop everybody, but it exempts you from that because you took responsibility and warned people.

When you 1st walk in, you have to pay for the buffet up front. We watched as they let “certain guest” come in through the exit door & was told that they can eat now & pay later. Meanwhile when I asked for my drink, the waiter asked for my receipt to make sure I paid 1st.

This place is horrible I wish I could give it a Zero I came for Christmas Dinner being charged $18 dollars for canned unseasoned Greens, canned so called Lima Beans , canned Black eyed peas , cold Fish and Chicken this was ridiculous I will never eat here again.

Absolutely horrible. This place makes golden corral seem like five star dining. No beef on the buffet whatsoever.(Unless you consider Mac a burger, beef). Everything that was supposed to be hot was cold by the time you walked over to your table. I’ve seen more seasonings in a retirement home. I had to ask cashier if they served pork or beef and she assured me they had pork chops. She had to yell into the kitchen for them to make some. When they came out, I knew right away that they were not pork chops. They were trash from the meat saw that were floured and called pork chops. My server brought my initial drink and didn’t ask again until she saw that I was ready to leave. How convenient for her. My recommendation is, “only eat here if you are starving and you can absolutely find nothing else open. “You’re better off to eat the $20 bill that you would waste here.
