Their paneer is amazing! I temporarily moved to MA for a job. I get their Shahi paneer every week on the days I don’t want to cook and it costs only a $15. I’ve tried other Indian restaurants on Route 9 but this is better than all!

We catered 7 or 8 types of dishes from here for almost 200 people for our birthday dinner party, and all guests were very happy with the taste and quality of food! Many asked where we got the food from, since they liked all the items. Thank you to the team for making good food and on time delivery!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Catering by Punjab Grill – Boston

We recently had Punjab Grill cater food for our party, and I can honestly say it was one of the best catering experiences we’ve ever had. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect — the food, the service, and the professionalism.

The food was exceptional and unforgettable. Every dish was packed with authentic Punjabi flavors, cooked to perfection, and beautifully presented. Our guests could not stop talking about how delicious everything was. The flavors were rich, fresh, and well-balanced — not overly oily or heavy, just pure, high-quality food made with care. You could truly taste the authenticity and passion in every bite.

What made this experience even more special was the owner himself, who is an incredibly kind, humble, and professional person. He was hands-on, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure everything went smoothly. That level of personal involvement and dedication is rare and truly appreciated, especially when it comes to catering an important event.

The entire process — from planning to delivery — was smooth, reliable, and stress-free. The food arrived on time, was perfectly packed, and stayed fresh and hot. Punjab Grill handled everything with such professionalism that it gave us complete peace of mind during our event.

Our party was a huge success, and a big reason for that was the amazing food from Punjab Grill. So many of our guests asked where the food was from and said it was some of the best Punjabi food they’ve ever had.

If you are looking for top-quality catering in Boston, whether for a family gathering, party, or special event, I highly recommend Punjab Grill. Exceptional food, outstanding service, and genuinely wonderful people behind it. We will absolutely be using them again in the future!

Highly recommended!

It is beyond sad that there are no good Pakistani restaurants in Boston. This one is unfortunately more disappointing than expected of most Pakistani-owned eateries in the area. Craving a taste of home, I ordered one “full” Chicken Karahi and one order of Seekh Kabab from them through UberEATS for a whopping $75. Unfortunately, unlike other North-Indian-style/titled offerings on their menu, the Chicken Karahi is only available in two sizes: $30 ($29.90) for a half, and $40 something for a full. Extremely, extremely overpriced but I decided to take the plunge as the more expensive was more economical in comparison. After waiting for over an hour for my very, very expensive food order, what I got was what looked like a failed try at a chicken biryani. I have never had food show up at my doorstep via a delivery app that was so poorly packed, with box/ container semi-open, leaking into an unsecured thin paper bag, and cold, stale food that I “did not” order. And not only was my order completely incorrect, what arrived instead of it was so awful looking and smelling that I somewhat felt relieved I would be able to get my money back from Uber, never to order from here again. I was surprised at the whole situation but also not surprised. I sent the restaurant a note via Uber and followed up with a call where no one was able to connect me to someone responsible I could register my complaint with. No one got back to me through the app as well. All in all, I would’ve given it zero stars if I could for bad food and negligent customer service. But you have to give a star to write a review.

Kind of a small ‘hole in the wall’ place, but they keep it looking very quaint and the food is absolutely delicious! Go for the buffet one day if you don’t know what you like.

I can see the poor ratings given …. This business is a mess ….

But if you can tolerate the poor customer service … not picking up phone calls … no dine in service … and just focus on the food part .. you should be good …
In my case .. i moved to Worcester area and needed food ( veg / non veg) for house warming for 30 ppl … we had already sampled 4 restaurants till we came here ..
we walked in around noon on a friday .. no one at counter .. could hear somebody talking loudly in punjabi/ urdu in the back for like 10 minutes. He came out, realized we were here .. hung up his call and told us that there is no dine in service and kitchen will open at 3 .. OK.. we discussed the catering and wanted to try the food . He told us to order carryout on Tuesday !!
We did that food was good.. catering food tasted totally different but was equally good.
He provided delivery which was a major goof up .. the delivery guy didn’t show up . Owner had to come himself, he showed up at 1230 Delivery was supposed to be 11 am. Still save the day and almost forgot to charge me $300 worth of food till i reminded him ….
In all, i would cater from him again with more leeway in time ..

Okay, so the food is really good, however, the service is sub-par. It is almost an entirely take out business, but every time I have gone to pick up my order, it takes a noticeably long time for anyone to come out from the kitchen. Their business hours are all over the place. Sometimes they are randomly closed for no reason. They really need to be better about keeping their hours up to date. I wish I could give a better review, because honestly I think it’s the best Indian food in the area, and there is a lot of competition.

Very poor service and no business sense – negative stars is what I would like but had to put 1 just to post. I called to check opening hours as I live far away and was told the restaurant is open ’till the evening’. I came all the way with my family at 4pm to be told that the chef is leaving for a catering event and that we can not be served! On a Saturday at 4pm after calling a couple of hours earlier and confirming that they are open!!! The same woman who answered the phone and said they are open till the evening is the one who greeted us that we cannot be served. When we pushed it with her about why she made us come all the way, she said we can be seated and eat whatever the Chef has! So we were going to be served remains from an earlier open buffet!! What poor quality of everything.. I would never set foot there again and will tell this story as an example of short-term business vision and the worse customer experience ever.
