I dont know who is keeping this store open. But I am so mad at myself for not walking out. So many red flags but I had already driven over there and my time was ticking to get my son donuts. The walls are almost black from handprints, clearly no sane health inspector has passed this place. I tried looking past everything but the flies landing behind them has me reheating the donuts and the cherry on top is her catching the donuts with her bare hands and putting them in my box. Why just why. $37. I was so hesitant to hand my card but didnt want to look like that person. I should have. I feel like I ruined my sons birthday. His donut holes are just squishy dough. I reheated everything when I got home but I feel so bad for not walking out.

Donut’s were pretty mid. The elderly lady in the back that was cooking them looked sweet and was all smiles.
The lady helping us however, was short and borderline rude. No bag was offered to help me carry out the $30 in Donut’s I had just purchased.
I’m new to Joplin so I figured I’d give it a shot. Unfortunately, it’ll be my last visit I think
P.s: put the sweet ‘ole lady from the back out there in front. That’s the kind of interaction you need with customers.

This is the exact place I think of when I’m home. If you’re in the area, MOSA, Chavela’s, the Donut Hole, Taquería La Herradura #2, and Starwok are the reigning and defending champions of the area as far as staples of the community or new and emerging alternatives that have S-tier food at S-tier prices. I feel like I’m illiterate or maybe the stupidest person on planet earth because I’ll read people complaining about how DOUGHY and DOUGH-NUT is. The Donut Hole is the longest running staple of the community that hasn’t either price-gouged their customers or changed their recipes to the point where the become irrelevant and fall off a cliff only to close a year later. It’s the same placs it was 5 years ago and that was the same place it was 25 years ago. In a world where everything costs an arm and a leg and your money consistently goes to awful people, it’s nice to take a bite of comfort and know the money is going to a place that isn’t just a cornerstone, but run by good people as well. The highest of recommendations.

Donuts made fresh daily! Staff is friendly and the building is clean. Donuts are extremely affordable as the glazed donuts are 2 for $1! Chocolate long john’s are not a long as the typical long johns, but still taste great! Donuts sell out fast so make sure you get there as early as possible!

We were driving through so we gave this place a try. What a bad choice. The donuts were still mostly dough (the under cooked kind). The building was dirty outside and in. And the ladies were rushing and not friendly. I did give service 2 stars because we did get served promptly and without major issue.

If you want donuts and friendly service, this is the place to go. I’ve been going here since I was a little kid. They have the best donuts, hands down. The staff are always friendly. And you rarely have to wait to get the donuts you want. And the price is cheap for these amazing donuts. So! If you want to treat your taste buds to an absolute delight. Go to the Donut Hole! You won’t be disappointed.

I’m not from the area, but woke up wanting donuts and found this place. And I was definitely impressed. The service was fast and friendly, but the best part was the donuts were fresh. It’s been years since I’ve had a fresh donut. Many don’t realize they aren’t eating fresh donuts unless you have had fresh ones. They are not crunchy they are soft and melt in your mouth. Love this place a forgotten time. Thank y’all for the memories of my youth.

Hands down the most amazing donut shop in town/area!! Not because they have a large selection but because the people who own/work there are down right amazing. They go out of their way to make sure their customers are taken care of. They are always so nice when you go in they talk with you and ask about your day they truly care how their customers are. I have a son who has some behavioral issues and they just ignore his antics and keep me calm when I feel overwhelmed. We have now done 2 large orders from them both for birthday parties and both times they took care of us and gave us amazing product to serve our family friends. I won’t go any where else.
