The food was great. The service was excellent. Loved looking at all the antiques they had for sale. It’s one of the few left around these parts. Just went again last week. Still same great food and customer service. The food was fresh and good.

The absolute worst LJS we have ever attempted to eat! Food was ready instantly, so it’s obviously not fresh. One of our meals was wrong and was once again instantly replaced. The shrimps were huge and appealing to the eyes, but were so tough you had to rip them to get a bite. The fries were so hard you could use them as throwing stars, chicken & fish were hot, but very old batter that was tough,coleslaw tasted like mildew smells, and no crumbs in the plates! Like what?
No condiments for self service, so you have to ask for everything! Then the prices are ridiculous! Spent $32 for 2 meals that ended up feeding the garbage can! Never returning here!

I used to really like this place, now it is terrible! The coleslaw has no dressing at all. We were told they changed dressings. Would have been nice to find it. Anyone can chop a cabbagehead and shred up a carrot. That is literally all it was! The batter for the fish is changed, and leaves a completely different taste. They cheat on the ingredients and raise the prices! Save your money and eat at home!

So my Husband and I got our food to go yesterday and omgoodness it was awful!! The fish was hard burnt dried out!!! The hushpuppies was so hard couldn’t eat them. The fries was cold. All the food was in a warmer and they just served it knowing that it wasn’t worth serving to anyone. Thing’s are already high enough, But that was money wasted. We live in Central KY so couldn’t take it back. So we thru it away! When we go in I ALWAYS ask for fresh and they do that for me. Never had a problem but yesterday done it for me. What I liked about this visit was the service. I had stopped going to Long Johns awhile ago bc their food just wasn’t the greatest. I decided to try them again. I’m glad I did. The girl waiting on me was very friendly and knew exactly what she was doing. The food, fish, fries and hushpuppies was alot better than it used to be too.

Dear Owners/Management/Employees, Take note, if you would like to have a new car, or house or even a vacation home, keep doing what you did this evening July 6 th 2023. I haven’t had Long John’s that good since the mid 90s! The girl in the drive thru was an amazing employee, the food was cooked perfectly and even the water taste like spring water! Owners, pay these employees a little extra and you’ll get that vacation home in no time! Because I will be coming back and spending all my $.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! If I could of left a review without tapping a star I would have. This place has went down hill, their food was over cooked. Tasted like they dropped cold food that’s been sitting for hours back into the grease before they served it to us. 26 dollars for GARBAGE that was rubber! we asked for fresh food, they said they can get it going in 10 mins with no more customers inside or outside. No tartar sauce available either to cover the awful taste of old oil. This place needs shut down, put us a good restaurant in. Let’s get a taco bell or a chic fila in this town!!! DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!
