Great experience in the off season… we went on a Wednesday night for the Prime Rib special. I had the Prime Rib and my wife the burger an we also tried the loaded baked potato. All 3 were ourstanding. We also had a few drinks where you can tell the bartender is also about quality, great drinks! We had an overall outstanding experience and are server was amazing.

A New Nantucket Classic
Billies absolutely nailed it! We grabbed seats at the bar (super comfortable, by the way) and had one of the best meals we’ve had on island in a long time.
The Cowboy Steak was cooked to perfection — juicy, flavorful, and beautifully charred. We also ordered the filet mignon and salmon, both of which were outstanding. The salmon was especially surprising — delicate and perfectly balanced.
On the side, we went all in: creamed spinach, creamed corn, shrimp cocktail, and oysters — each one fresh, rich, and generously portioned. The oysters were briny and bright, the shrimp cocktail was chilled and snappy, and the sides? Classic steakhouse decadence.
Service was attentive but relaxed — the staff made us feel like locals even though it was our first time in. The vibe hits that sweet spot between upscale and cozy, with a buzz in the air but nothing over-the-top.
Billies is exactly what Nantucket needed — a proper steakhouse with style. We’ll be back soon.
They just opened, so I am sure it will only get better once they get some kinks worked out.

What a wonderful addition to dining on the island. Could the food, service and experience match my expectations, which had only grown in daily anticipation of Billie’s opening? Yes, yes and yes. The wedge salad and strip were perfect—classics done right. The pre-meal drinks at the outdoor bar with a dynamite bartender named Genie were fun and on point. The atmosphere is luxurious without being overly stuffy. The whole experience felt like a pleasure. I will be back and often. Treat yourself to Billie’s today.

Happened upon this restaurant by myself and sat at the bar. Atmosphere is lively but not too loud. Bartender and staff were very friendly. I enjoyed the greens salad and the salmon along with a nice glass of burgundy and an Oban to finish it off. The salad dressing was nice, not overpowering. The salmon was cooked perfectly with a nice crisp finish and the corn dish served with it was delicious. Would highly recommend it.

Place was stunning. From the decor to the hospitality. Food was delicious with little special touches such as the thick cut bacon at the bar. Drinks were strong and wine selection was worldly. Steaks and sides all came out exactly how we requested. Considering the restaurant has only been open 2 weeks i was so impressed with service and quality. This is exactly what the island needed. Cant wait to go back. Must try

The interior design was phenomenal. We were a party of 10 and the server did not drop the ball once, especially with care to my serious food allergy. Everyone really enjoyed their food, but we all agreed that the pricing was inconsistent. Some items were reasonably expensive (considering the location), but some made you scratch your head. Knowing how new it is, I’m sure adjustments will be made. Hope to return soon.

I went to Billie’s Nantucket for a date night and had such a great experience. My boyfriend and I shared the porterhouse, which was cooked perfectly, along with a mountain of crispy hand-cut fries, a shrimp cocktail, and honestly the best wedge salad I’ve ever had. The espresso martini was next level — nothing else on island comes close. Between the music, the vibe, and the energy in the room, it really felt like the place to be. Also, the entire renovation of the space is sick — such a cool transformation and it adds so much to the atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back.

Incredible experience at Billie’s. What a perfect restaurant for a special occasion or date night. An absolutely treat. The filet, creamed corn, and caesar salad were very good and they have blue cheese olives so a dirty martini is a must. Will be back!

This is an attempt at a very honest review, as I went into it with high expectations. First of all, it’s interesting that they don’t post their prices online. It’s also interesting that you cannot post a review on OpenTable.
I’ve been to every restaurant on Nantucket. Have been coming here on a regular basis for 25 years and I am now a homeowner. So I’m very familiar with the restaurant scene here, in New York and Boston and elsewhere. I am willing to spend a lot of money on really great food.
The steaks here are very good, but not great and certainly not Peter Luger good. The prices are of obscene. The salmon was bad. The sides were mediocre and teeny (if they were available). They didn’t get the temperatures right on the steaks. For what they charge, everything should be perfect. It wasn’t even close. This place won’t be around two years. I suspect that most people who try it once will never go back. Don’t go. I’d much rather see a place there that’s sustainable and will attract business on an ongoing basis. Billie’s is not that place.

Overall, we had a great experience. There was a small issue with our steak, but the manager, Lauren, was very kind and resolved it quickly. Our server, Quinton, was knowledgeable about the menu and gave excellent wine recommendations. Cute decor, very nice addition to the island.
