I LOVE this place so much. Moving to Columbia from KC I was so worried about finding good authentic Mexican food in a small town. Alberado’s is absolutely one of my favorite spots, it helps that they have multiple locations in KC as well. Their tacos are huge and definitely bigger than regular corn street tacos. I got the lengua and adobada tacos and they were both amazing. They have so many salsas to choose from and they’re all good. We also ordered the quesabirria which you can never go wrong with. 100% recommend this place. Super affordable as well. We got the two tacos and quesabirria for around $18

We have been coming to this restaurant regularly since around 2022. Today was the best experience we’ve ever had here. We ordered the combination menu-one chicken fajita and one steak fajita. The seasoning was perfect, and the meat was cooked just right.
The server we met today was the most communicative, efficient, friendly, and skilled person we’ve encountered here! I would like to express my gratitude once again to the lady working during Saturday lunch. I truly hope you continue working at this restaurant for a long time.
One thing I didn’t like was that all the sauces at the self-serve bar were too watery. It would be great if the sauces could be made thicker.
We will definitely come back again, as always.

There bean and cheese burritos with sour cream is to die for. Very flavorful. No matter what you choose on the menu it’s usually pretty good and tasty. The best drink they have is the Horchata, it’s a rice water, cinnamon, almond, &sugar drink. Yummy. Watch out though there addictive. 😉
I love that they are open late at night. Sometimes I get the munchies or need a midnight snack and don’t feel like cooking.

Outstanding breakfast plates! I had the Chorizo plate. This includes chorizo with scrambled eggs eggs, beans, and rice. Very tasty. I also tried the complimentary chips and salsa. Multiple salsas to choose from and all were tasty. I wish the salsas were thicker as they fell off the chips. I had a hot tamale which tasted great, spicy, but appeared to have been microwaved as one side of the tamale was tough. Certainly recommend going here as the other lunch items look great.

Decided to get a burrito and chips & queso for lunch. I got the steak fajita burrito, rice and beans side, queso and cheese and a size of guac. The queso is on the thin side and spicy but realllllly good. The guac needs some flavor. The rice and beans were flavorful and the burrito was amazing and flavorful. The portions are massive and I have lunch for tomorrow. I love that there’s a drive through window. I preordered for pick up after a training class and the food was ready at the time requested. You can order through the drive through but please don’t. Please pre order or go inside. Leave the drive through for quick and easy pick up. Will definitely be back. I want to try the breakfast burritos!

Ordered delivery through their website, and it was a Door Dasher, which wasn’t mentioned until after the order had been placed afaict (although they did great, it’s something I wish restaurants offering delivery were more transparent about). But, this burrito tastes terrible. Like nothing but the saltiest beef imaginable and straight cilantro (and I have the soap gene). It’s supposed to have guac? And seemingly doesn’t? Genuinely I can barely eat this it tastes bad. My partner’s burrito contained barely any chicken and the fries in it were barely cooked, and the “smother in cheese” build your own burrito option was interpreted as “put shredded cheese on top AFTER cooking the rest of the burrito, then add queso” like…. hello?? Rice and beans were alright, but it’s so hard to mess those up that’s practically a participation trophy lmao. Very disappointed.

This is second time we got the meat without cutting… their food used to be good but l don’t know why recently the food is horrible. We Order no.23 fajita mixed all the time but the taste is different every time. Sometimes it is good, some times no flavor at all and sometimes too salty… we hope they can do some adjustments back in their kitchen and we don’t want to lose them.
